What do you think of this chart of possible reasons to follow "like" each driver?

I've always been interested by the patterns of F1 fans in general and how about they go with "picking their favorites" are they really their "favorite" drivers, or is it because that certain driver is the enemy of the one they dislike most? It's no real surprise a good majority of Seb fans are also Button supporters yet Webber haters and Lewis fans are Webber supporters yet Button haters...

Think about it, most Seb fans are Kimi fans as well since they're friends in real life, same goes with Lewis and Alonso, all 2 groups dislike each of the other driver, Seb and Kimi have history with Lewis and Alonso, major rivalry and popshots or questionable drivers changes mid-contract.

Most Seb/Kimi fans "like" Button as well since they wanted him to beat Lewis, same goes for most Lewis/Alonso fans liking Webber because they want him to beat Seb.

Seb/Kimi/Button fans tolerate Pastor because they know he pisses off Lewis and his fans, same goes for Narain with Seb pissing them off.

Lewis/Alonso/Webber fans (long shot) dislike Schumacher but prefer B.Senna, other way round for Seb/Kimi/Button fans liking Schumacher and disliking B.Senna. A sort of historic (like and dislike) with Schumacher/A.Senna being their past favorites. Seb idols Schumacher, Lewis idols Senna.

Heikki is unique in that group red would consider him a underrated driver and deserves a spot in a top team, group blue would say he is overrated and deserved to lose his seat. No real hate for him, but 2 different views in how they see his talent.

Perez is also unique in that group blue would want him to do better than Lewis did at McLaren, but group red would hope he just wipes the floor with Jenson and fail to win a WDC as a bonus. Group blue also wanted him at Ferrari and challenge Alonso, rather than settle with a weak minded Felipe.

Thoughts for 2013:
Webber is getting on now and soon group red will likely start to support either Ricciardo/Vergne//Felix to go out and beat Seb on his home turf and try to make him suffer 2014 onwards.

Rosberg will likely become the new favorite to try and beat Lewis, Button might be left on his own now Lewis left him.

Massa's upturn in form will probably skyrocket his rating in group blue since they would love to see him beat Alonso for once and see what unravels at Ferrari.

Grosjean or Perez will join group red since Grosjean will be Kimi's team rival with the Lewis/Alonso fans wanting him to be beat and the same for Perez to go out and beat Button since most Lewis and Alonso fans dislike him.

I think I have all the bases covered (probably not), but please give me your thoughts and opinions, what do you reckon of my theory with the F1 fan/group mindset?

**And yes I do miss F1 and it's (f) me off...

Your mostly right with the groupings from my perspective (as a massive Button fanboy who tries to hide it). With Blue being the drivers i like and red that i don't. The one exception being i cant stand Pastor but like Bruno.

Hmmmm so close but not conclusive, hell I'll take that!

I like most drivers in all groups, with exception to Vettel/Pastor from the blue group and Narain/Senna from the red group. Perez I'm still a little iffy on, but I can't figure out why I've got a reason to dislike him. Vettel I can't stand on principle, regardless of my liking for Webber, Kimi, Alonso, Hamilton and Ricciardo. Yeah, for me the drivers don't connect in that sort of intricate way.

In a way I'm correct, but incorrect in others, thanks for your post.

I think what my research shows is that it's (very likely) the reason why you dislike a certain driver is beacuse of these 6 drivers in particular: Seb/Kimi/Jenson Vs Alonso/Lewis/Webber

With a possible stem off with less likely chances of supporting either Pastor or Narain, B.Senna or Schumacher, Heikki or Perez etc...

Yeah, I think I break it too. I'm probably 1/2 blue, 1/3rd red and 1/6th yellow.

Well I like Lewis and Pastor a lot so I claim my own circle too. Also, seeing Pastor and Pérez next to each other in the blue bit seems wrong to me as I believe there's more beef between those two than there's ever been between Maldo and Lewis.

Plus, I don't see Kimi getting mixed up in stuff like this at all. He'd be in his own circle sucking on an ice cream while "taking a ****".

Yeah, Kimi would definitely be in the 'I don't give a **** about anyone else' category

You should see his fans in autosport and the way they dislike Alonso and Santander.
