Our win would've put Chelsea through as the 3rd place side with the most points, but Southampton battered Newcastle 5-1, so they leapfrogged them. Shame...
Final score from this evening in the FA Youth Cup is Cheltenham 0 Spurs 1. We are away to West Ham in the next round. Our goal tonight came from Coulthirst, a young man who is having a fine season.
It's good to hear the youth's doing well, gives you hope for the future, wonder how many will make the 1st team?
Well our track record in bringing youth through is not impresive, but with the new training facilities and a manager who does show willingness to give youth a chance, then we can live in hope.
So our under 18s are throught to the next round with a 1-0 win over Cheltenham. That boy Coulthirst seems to be having a cracking season and Onomah again got a start for our youth side. http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/spurs/News/fayc-live-18122012.page

Today we kick off the next stage of this competition with a home game against Wolves. Todays line up is as follows - Miles, Fredericks, Fryers, Veljkovic, Hall, Livermore, Falque, Mason, Obika, Carroll and Townsend.
No Assou-Ekotto, SC? I thought he'd be eased back in like Parker was. With today's game nearly a full week before the visit of Fergie and his officials, I'm surprised at the omission. Still no Pritchard, either. Dodgy. Why do we seem to have no problem with scoring set-pieces at this level, yet our first XI's crap at them?
