A no from me. UEFA could solve the problem of the rich clubs dominance by making the champions league for winners only.

UEFA are more interested in the big club's dominance than anything else. With the
centuries long hatred between the English and the Scottish people, I cannot believe
that the Scottish club or clubs fans would ever think that they were getting fair play.

He's only saying what is true in the context of the current rules regarding entry into other country's leagues. If UEFA loosen the rules on cross-border competition then attitudes may change.

I'm against the idea in principle. Celtic is a Scottish club and we've managed to last 125 years playing here. However, if rules are relaxed and other clubs start benefiting, ie. Swiss clubs gaining access to the Bundesliga, then it would be remiss of us not to follow a similar path down South.

I don't want to be any special case or anything (on topic).

I've got two main reasons for not wanting to play in a non-Scottish league.

    1. I'm actually fairly patriotic and I like the country I live in - it has its faults like everywhere but it's home and I feel I have more in common with someone who supports Ross County than someone who supports Chelsea or Fulham or Sheffield Wednesday. I also think that it's important to have a Scottish national side - FIFA are choking to make GB a football nation and Scotland's bigger teams playing in England would leave us with an unarguable position for a national team.

    2. I don't want to be a special case - I want Celtic to win things and do as well as they can within any rules and boundaries set out. As ST says, Celtic have played in a Scottish league since the day we were formed and I hope there's still one in the next 200 years (after which, football will cease it's stranglehold as fashionable game of the day over 300 years and be superceded by Robot Deathball).

It is obvious that Campbell etc. would sell out everything , all his moral authority and
All the moral authority he should have in order to get special treatment for his
beloved Rangers. The one without scruples, and friends will not quit to they destroy
    Scottish football completely.

UEFA seem very interested in the Russian Ukrainian league merger proposal, so if it went ahead merging of noth European leagues is not out of the question.
Celtic could within a decade find themselves playing against the likes of Ajax, Feyenoord, Anderlecht, PSV etc.

Entry to the CL and EL would probably be open to the top 8 or ten in an Atlantic league and chances are we would be in there very often.
Aberdeen, Hearts Hibs would possibly play in a second Div.
What happens to SEVCO though if they are a Conference side or lower league side in England? They would effectively have blocked their own passage. Now that would be ironic. How long would the Sports Direct Stadium house gates of even 20K against very small lower league teams from England season after season after season.

Celtic, dons, hearts, Hibs would all attract sponsors and advertising on a much larger scale than being confined to Scotland. Who then would become Scotland's second largest club?

Biggs there are some special cases , most are followers of Sevco, who are trying to
explore admittance to another league whilst at the same time haven't got full licence
to play in the league they are currently in.
Wouldn't it be ironic if by trying to get admittance into England or elsewhere ,
the SFL finally got fed up and removed the temporary licence from the bullying Sevco

Wouldn't they need the SFA's permission to go anywhere else in any case?

Young Campbell has said that he won't stand in any clubs way if they want to
Leave Scotland. Mr Campbell is a very decent man because when Celtic were
pushing the agenda to leave Scotland he and his friends were less than helpful,
more like "over my dead body" attitude then but all fine and dandy now. It
Certainly wont happen but look out for change in restructuring league here
to make Rangers happier. They should restore Rangers to SPL give them
£20m war chest and restore the ten points stolen off the old Rangers
giving Rangers a ten point start. That may reduce their moaning.

They deserve it, after all they have had to suffer.

P.s. don't try to explain to them the concept of self inflicted.

Sevco whole talk of completing in the Conference or any other League in England
is to pressurise the authorities and clubs to come up with a method of fast tracking
the Huns into the SPL . It is a bluff, and I hope the clubs realise it.
