I guess thats the difference between those who have seen it before and the first time viewers. I am defo going to see it in london. And I will take your advice. Even though I hadnt seen it, I thought something was wrong with Gavroche's song. I wanted to slap the soldier who shot him. I know its only a film, but he was so funny and adorable. Re Jackman, I thought he was shaky and seemed to lack a bit of emotion. But its just me personal opinion.

Morning all from a slightly snowy West West London. Light covering of snow on The Zil this morning when I fired it up to leave bandit country and at -1C, a little colder! Thanks for the frothy AK...
Morning all, bit chilly in bandit country today. -1C all the way in and I don't think its managed to climb since then. A light covering on the ground so far an it is just starting to snow again now. Hopefully we'll get a decent amount as I'm one of those weird people who loves driving in snow
Cheers, GG. It was my first go and in any case it's probably never going to be everyone's cup of tea. You had a go, that's all any of us do with a book. By all means PM me if you have any thoughts...they're sometimes helpful next time round!
Very chilly here and at 8.00am the man from the meteo was forecasting snow starting this evening and continuing until Wednesday. By 10.00am the snow was coming tomorrow and now it is unlikely that we will see more than a few flakes this evening. I might wrap up well and go down the fields this afternoon for some light jobs, or I might stay in a stoke the wood burner.
GG - have you read any Conn Iggulden? He takes a few liberties with historical accuracy but his series on both Rome and the *****ls I found very readable
It now appears that someone is on our office roof throwing large tennis ball size pieces of cotton wool. Either that or its really starting to snow......yippee!!!!
happy happy happy!!! I had two tests today...one was a very early start, both could have been called off because of the weather..neither were....both passed..first time. I'm such a happy Hornette!
Well done H, to bump up the 'Orns attendances you should tell everyone who passes that they have to follow WFC from now on. Otherwise their licences get revoked!!!
Good news, Mrs Sandy has just called and my tickets to the Crystal Palace game have arrived. Decided that after the Man City game I would try to get to a couple of home games before the end of the season. Looking forward to a cold Friday night in February, having my brother for company and hopefully 3 points to finish the night off with. COYH!!
I saw Les Mis last night - I really don't know what parents were doing taking their daughter who looked about 10 to it, especially as the mum had seen the show so obviously forgot about what Fantine does after being sacked from the factory. H, the reason that Colm Wilkinson will always be the ultimate Jean Valjean was that some of the original score was altered to suit his voice. I was proved right that the casting of Sacha Baron Cohen as M. Thenardier was an almighty mistake but Helena Bonham Carter as Mme. Thenardier was brilliant. My favourite song is "Master of the House" and they removed a verse of it! Would love to go to the stage show again, and this time take pie with me.
