I reckon Leicester Gangster rides a tricycle with one of those hooters so he can let people know as he approaches them on the pavement. No way he'd be allowed on the road. I also think his mum makes him wear a full face motorcycle crash helmet as he bombs along. Bless.
This is Gangsta posing for a photo. In the interest of road safety, I must point out that should Gangsta wish to actually begin riding his Special Boys' Tricycle, he would of course have to wear the necessary headgear, such as a crash helmet or impact turban. please log in to view this image
Back on topic quickly (ring out the boos), one game doesn't make a goalie. Jackie made a few blunders, but I didn't hear anybody complaining in the run he had up to today. If he's good enough for Olympiakos and Lokomotiv Moscow, he's good enough for us. Stop panicking like a tit and consider our position in the table. We need a cover goalie, Jak has shown enough that he can be our number 1.
Sensible, well thought out supportive post of one of our players. Pity no one will read it tommy, well one or two.
Leicester Gangster may well. I have no idea who he is though. And Erik, you'll be in a lot of trouble when OLM sees you put that pic of him on here.
Jakupovic has shown he is a decent back up keeper and can be called upon should we need him but Stockdale showed to me that he is a more competent goalkeeper
After Saturday I agree. The most worrying aspect about his display was he couldn't pull himself together after fumbling the first goal. He seemed to go through the rest of the game in a state of panic instead of getting a grip of himself and showing determination to make up for the error. That shows a weakness in his character to me and I don't think the defence will trust him until he has a good few solid perfomances behind him. Also why wasn't the penalty handed to Prozzy? He's German FFS (his only penalty so far was a beauty) and he needs goals to increase his confidence. I know Simpson also needs a goal but he wouldn't be my first choice to take our penalties.
Another contrast between the two teams on Saturday was the physical build of the players. It wasn't just height, the Wednesday players looked like tanks, while ours looked brittle by comparison and as they played their pressing game it seemed like our lads were a bit intimidated.
If the game wasn't already lost on Saturday then i don't think Jay would have been allowed to take a penalty
I noticed Amos was on the bench for Man U yesterday. Not commenting on Jakupovic again as it gets people backs up. Hope we get a new keeper in ASAP, have a lot of faith in Bruce now with his signings and direct action.
