This bloke needs to start, not even on the bench yesterday, not injured, defence were ****e yesterday well done BR....cock.

 

Agger and Skrtel are world class.

Coates is good but can be shaky.

I think I am actually one of the few who would pick Carragher over Coates.

Against Manfield our young defenders struggled. Against Mansfield!!

But it was a walk in the park for Carragher.

 

Showed there world class yesterday!!!

 

He should be on the bench in place of Carragher imo but I wouldn't have played him yersterday. Skrtel and Agger have done well all season.

 

What are you on about chappster? Our CB's made 2 individual mistakes in the match. They were however left exposed at times.

As for Coates, from what I've seen the lad has real promise and we should put him on the bench - even if that means 'resting' Carra.

 

Defending is a team game. The full backs did not defend well enough yesterday and Joe Allen had an awful game playing in front of them. They were over exposed.

They also had a world class striker playing against them.

 

I thought agger and skrtel are world class? Must have missed something!!!

 

The words "World Class" are banded about a bit too much and I'm not going to go into it regarding our center backs. However Skrtel and Agger are very good players but in any game mistakes can be made in any position especially when playing against good opponents.

The pair have done well all season and should remain as first choice. IMO.

 

Define world class please

 

The thing with Carragher is he is able to cover CB, RB, LB and DM too. Coates is a CB. I'd say this is why JC gets picked ahead of SC

 

Think he needs game time and starting eleven at that. Should go on loan, especially if we get Mirin in.

 

I imagine Carra will retire at the end of the season so he may get more playing time.

 

Meaning the rest of this season not next really. Coates and Suarez will have a busy summer ( again) btw.

 

I don't think it would hurt if he went on loan this season, Wisdom could cover CB if needed.

 

At the moment Carra is ahead of him in the pecking order. Best to send Coates out on loan to another English club

 

Would hav to be Wigan, WBA, Swansea(?) where they play similar to how we play.

 

Hopefully that's the idea so he can adapt to the English game. No use sending him to a foreign club imo

 

Thought Skrtel and Agger both played well for us yesterday, often tidying up other more erroneous players' mistakes.

Coates, for his height (which is usaully what he gets into the team for), isn't as commanding in the air as you would hope.

 

Don't think Skirts is world class.

Coates is obviously not getting a game for a reason.

Looking forward to Kelly coming back.

 

I don't think we have anyone that is but that depends on individual definitions of world class I guess
