QPR set to complete signing of Spurs man qprloftusroad 14/01/2013 by West London Sport QPR are expected to confirm the loan signing of Jake Livermore in the next 48 hours. Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has agreed a deal to take the Tottenham midfielder, 23, to Loftus Road for the rest of the season. Redknapp, sacked as Spurs boss in June, has been in contact with his former club about the possible availability of several of their players. He is keen to sign at least one midfielder during the transfer window and was made aware that Livermore was potentially available. Livermore has previously had loan spells at Leeds, Derby, Ipswich and Peterborough.
Livermore;- 97 appearances 3 goals, sounds exactly like the goal-hungry midfielder we need...but he has got 1 England cap too
He's a DMF Beth or so I'm told, but Livermore and M'Vila I just can't understand. We're buying midfielders and we need 2 strikers and one more CB
I think you will find most of those games were as a sub and plenty of good defensive midfielders don't always score that many but contribute in other ways. TBH how many goals has Derry scored yet he has done a good job. I always say don't knock until they have played for us.
Not sure that they were as subs....most out to loan to Ipswich, Leeds, Peterborough. I was speaking ironically about Livermore being free-scoring, but I do really think what we need is someone who actually thinks that scoring goals is part of their remit....forwards or midfielders (or even backs like Baines of Everton). Adel is the only one (and perhaps SWP) who thinks ...."now where is the goal". You can't score goals if you don't shoot!
Harry will know him inside out , so if he thinks he can improve us , I trust him (unlike the last chump)!
Agree with most of that but i was talking about being a sub mostly at Spurs, however as for the loan spells at Ipswich, Leeds, Peterborough i wouldn't worry too much because all those sides were Struggling in the Championship. I really believe that Arry will only get in players that will do a job.

Agree mate i put Fabio as my 'Man of the Match'. WE seem stop be giving away silly goals and i see the formation that he is trying to do but like the rest say we really need someone to put that ball in the net on a regular basis.
have we got mvila then? he managed livermore before so must like him. but i agree we still need a striker and defender.
If we get Livermore and M'Vila what will happen to Mbia, Diakite,Derry, Granero, Faurlin, Park. Too many players fight for those 2 CM positions
