http://www.holmesdale.net/page.php?id=106&tid=128737&page=1 Interesting that many of them think we will finish top - maybe most thought that before Saturday's match! I will go with Cardiff and Leicester in top 2 and us in the top 6.
Cardiff will win. Leicester or us will be second. The other 3 in the playoffs will be Palace, Boro and Watford
Nice to see some rate us as potential champions, I think there's a small chance Cardiff will do their usuall wobble but Leicester are the ones I worry about I think they will be the biggest threat to us and they'll finish in the top 2
Cardiff and Leicester are our biggest threats but I think we will go up if we address the issues that are obvious to every fan.
The joy of footy is that no one ever knows - at Christmas in our promo season to Prem we were looking at relegation - so let's just enjoy the ride
Exactly - championship is far too tight to call. A 5 point gap to 3rd would have been a big step though
That's a bit of an overstatement. We were mid-table but certainly looking upwards rather then down......
Our inability to beat teams in the bottom three may come back to haunt us. You have Leicester beating teams that, as a side pushing for promotion, they should be but, beating them significantly i.e. 6-1, 4-0. We lost 3-1 to both Posh and the Wendies, at home, which is something we have to address for the remainder of the Season. I'm still thinking we seriously need a forward who can convert a chance given to him, and a Keeper that is reliable.
People make a big deal out of this sort of thing, when it means **** all. Afterall it's only an opinion.
Well its half time we go into the second half with has good a chance has any of the others, the problem we have, is not been in form over the first two games of the new year taking one point from a possible 6. However we know we have a couple of problem areas but hopefully something will be done about these in the near future and has others have said there is still a long way to go at the moment Leicester and Watford seem the form teams but that can change very quickly. It really is to hard to call Cardiff have the points advantage so must be favourites but with a decent run even they can be caught, at the moment any of the top six have a good chance and you never know there may be someone from a lower position who will make a fight of it. We have had a jolt and need a win in our next game which hopefully get us on another good run again
Its still Far Far Far too early to be making bold predictions on who will finish where as most of saturdays results showed. I would not read too much into Lesta at the moment despite the fact they took advantage of a virus filled Huddersfield team and a Bristol City team who had more defensive holes than a tetley tea bag. Lets wait and see how they get on over the next 3 weeks when Lesta play Middlesboro(this friday live on sky) @ home and Cardiff City away on the 29th. Something will have to give in those games. For whatever reason City were not on the game saturday. The Wendies came and did a job on us. In saying that we should still have come away with a draw. The only thing that can be certain is that more surprise results will happen to all teams. If the game goes ahead that is. Peterboro dont have undersoil heating so this game could be one of the first championship games Postponed if the snow and ice carries on as has been predicted. TWT.
