    1. Brady - never gave up - looked well worth his price tag
2,3 and 4 would be Chester, Hobbs and Elmo not in any particular order - would have said Faye too but he really should know better than going in like that - we could have been down to ten and had a 3 match ban to deal with

Fair play cant really argue with any of that...Saw the replay last night of Faye,s tackle and he was lucky to stay on.

Koren didn't play well but scored , people always vote for the goalscorer

Chester had a shocker by his standards

Quinn didn't play well but calling him lazy is wrong

    Meyler didn't show anything today

    Evans was anonymous

Jak - No thanks proper keeper needed

Bad day at the office but only 1 game no need to panic girls

Well done Newland - I agree fully with this. I cannot believe that Chester has got ANY votes as, for once only admittedly, he was outmuscled, outplayed, and outthought.

The referee was the only one who contributed anything particularly positive to the cause yesterday, with superb work to not send off Faye for a 2 feet off the floor lunging challenge and for denying Wednesday a perfectly legitimate goal when Jakupovic made the first of two horrendous blunders.

I really cannot pick a single player from any who graced the pitch to put in a top 3 as nobody played well in my opinion, and as with some other posters think we should discount this performance from the overall stats!

I am particularly surprised at the amount of people naming Chester in their top 3s as his work with the ball was awful, consistently giving it away, and looking more shaky defensively then he has done previously in a Hull top. Bottom line is that was our worst performance in the past 2 seasons, nobody played well, one person has played themselves out of the team for a while with some unbelievably embarrassing play acting after dropping a corner into the goal, but we are still second and sometimes a reality check can be a good thing to stop people getting a Bobby big bollocks attitude. The outfield lads have not become awful overnight, add a solid 'keeper and a striker and I still feel we will win the league.

hahahahaha, no, I did not, sadly like many managers, players and teams in genereal i'm not really concerned about the cup competitions...otherwise Crawley, Doncaster & Macclesfield would make up the top 4 along with Orient!

Well that game was certainly the worst performance from City this Season by far. Wednesday wasn't far behind, but doesn't have the sheer disappointment the Orient game had. Also, despite Jakupovic's howlers and the Wednesday game being aired live on SKY to the nation, I was still far more embarrassed at the Cup Game. There aren't words to describe our performance that day.

Jakupovic - looked shakey when we didn't need him to be.
Chester - agree, one of his worst games for us, but was one of the better players in comparison to the rest
Hobbs - to me it looked like his long spell out is catching up with him a bit - struggled to keep up in the 2nd half
    Evans - anonymous
Koren - went missing for large periods of the game, stepped up well for the goal, but also fluffed our best chance.
Faye - had a lot to deal with in the air, but didn't win his usual 99.9% of them. An off game from him.
Aluko - Tried hard to make something happen, but looked very weak against the big Wednesday bullies - bundled off the ball too easily, compared to his usual standards.
Elmohamady - Marked out of the game and lacked his usual effort to force his way into it.
Quinn - No Quinniesta showed up against the Wendies, it was more like Stephen Binn - i.e. he was rubbish (buh-dum-tsh!)
Meyler - weak on and off the ball, flapped about a lot, didn't boss the team about like he has done recently and his passing was way off.
Brady - Put in a lot of effort, one of the very few bothered about playing, but tried to be the old Brady - not a nice sight at all after what we had seen recently

Oxley - rabbit caught in the headlights
Proschwitz - got in the way a bit, had a few nice touches, but wasn't on long enough to make too much of an impact.
Simpson - Should have been on from the start, he was the only one using a bit of muscle against big blokes who were muscling us off the ball, Simpson gave them as good back.... but his penalty was awful!

    So, discounting the subs:

    1. Brady - just for showing some effort.
    2. Aluko - simply because he tried to make something happen, but was left frustrated.
    3. Chester - nothing special from him, but the rest were even worse.

Is it too late in Quinn's career to teach him how to tackle?

It was identical to his attempt at a tackle for Sinclair's goal for Peteborough wasn't it? :/

1 Brady for positivity and effort
2 Hobbs for being the best of the back line
3 Proschwitz for a decent little cameo

I can't pick a player as every single one of them had a complete mare. Anyone else think that was the type of game McLean could have come on for and made an impact?

Also worst league performance since we came back to the championship was pompy away last season by a country mile, at least we managed to score on Saturday.
