Kompany just sent off against Arsenal = suspended against us. And along with Yaya Toure in Africa two of City's biggest presences missing when we play them at Loftus Road. Good news <ok>

Indeed... But a harsh red in my humble opinion. Good pro is Kompany.

Neither should have been red cards, ref is a tosspot...

I though they both were reds - First stonewall rugby tackle... second a bit less clear, but from where the ref was it did look as though Kompany went in 2 footed. just shows how difficult it is to be a ref... unless they are at LR, in which case it's easy... just give the decisions our way!

Too card happy I agree. Kompany's was a good tackle imo..........but the first one was a clear red for me. Wrestled him to the ground to prevent a clear goal scoring opportunity.

I'd have said yellow card and penalty for 1st one, second was a good tackle, really refs are ruining matches with their trigger-happy reds...

Think City are going to appeal Kompany's red.

Did you not see it as a goal scoring opportunity then?

I think it was Tevez running in for the same ball who may have got to it without those two cutting across, it wasn't one player totally clear on goal. Just my view of a game-ruining decision...

Great that both will be missing. Improves our chances of a result.

Didn't Kompany miss the game at LR last season aswell? They looked a bit shaky that night without him.....

Correct. Unfortunately they've sold Savic. He made Bothroyd look good, nuff said.

Arsenal one was a clear red, kompanies was not. they wouldn't rescind it if it was us but as its city, he will be cleared to play against us.

Don't think they will. The ref was in his right to give it and the FA will back his decission.

They will only rescind it if Mike Dean goes back on his initial decission.
But that's just my opinion :)

I think Tevez only got there because Deckboy was brought down, otherwise he would have been first to the ball, one on one with the keeper.

It was a perfect tackle, cleanly won the ball, one footed and wasn't high. I'll give up on football the day they start banning tackles like that.
