The only one of our ex players who I value is Hansen.

Nothing wrong with a few others but they don't offer much, I think Hansen does in his own, Scottish way!

 

Shame we couldn't have got the win, would have been level on points with Arsenal if they do lose to City which looks likely

It wasn't that bad. Didn't expect to win but we held our own quite well despite the result. Remains me of the last meeting between us too

 

Na you're right, just gutted about the first half. Wish Sturridge had started, oh well - onto the next!

 

Strurridge and Henderson should have started ahead of Downing and Allen, said that this morning

 

Without a doubt, Allen played well against Sunderland when he came on as a sub but maybe it's just that, maybe he should be used as an impact sub

 

He's not an impact sub. He is someone you should bring on to help see a game out but not to try and change a game IMO. He is only young and needs time to develop, just think Henderson is the better option ATM, especially alongside Gerrard and Lucas

 

Thought Henderson was unlucky not to start today. He should definitely start against Norwich next Saturday

 

Wonder what the odds on a Suarez hat-trick are

 

Hope we give them a good hiding, Suarez or even Sturridge hatrick will do me

 

In theory, the hat-trick should be quite long odds because it is very unlikely that a player would get a hat-trick of hat-tricks against one club. But on the other side a lot of people will be looking at it forcing the odds down too.

A 1-0 win will do me but I would obviously prefer two or three

 

I'd take 1-0 as it would mean us winning but the more we score the more it'll get us pumped for our game against Arsenal on the Wednesday
