I agree, how he booked Evra for Downings dive and then didn't book Johnson for his rugby tackle I'll never know.
Felt a bit sorry for Suarez today, must be hard being surrounded by such dross. Even if, to a man, it's world class dross! Amazing how Liverpool improved once Lucas went off eh? Average barely does him justice.
Brendan Rodgers said after the game - "We're 24 points behind United but we're not 24 points behind in terms of quality." good god, there were sh it in the first half, they were lucky not to be 6-0 down, also Skrtel and Johnson should've both been sent off, and people can stop Howard Webb a United fan because he gave Liverpool every decision today.
If the scousers don't improve even SAF won't be able to hype this match in the future. I have never seen a scousers team so frozen and sh1t scared at OT. Why tikitaka didn't start with Sturridge is a bloody mystery. And why Allen was still on the pitch? When I saw him at the start I knew he was going to have a stinker. He looked absolutely petrified. United didn't have to come out of second gear. I still think they are not firing on all cylinders yet let's hope the team can improve before the Madrid matches.
Of course he is. He's exactly what they ****ing deserve. Like them he believes he's better than he is.
I couldn't agree more, his comment about Liverpool not being 24 points behind in terms of quality is laughable, they are where they are in the table because they haven't been good enough to earn the points needed to be higher, it's that simple really, and if it wasn't for that buck toothed tumbler they would be a lot closer to the relegation fight. Rodgers is one of those managers that tries make the game too complicated, he seems to over think everything trying to be too clever for his own good, football is a simple game, it shouldn't need managers with 180 page dossiers.
i laughed at his 24 points comment, their squad is crap, i don't see them getting into the top 4 for at least another 10 years.
Great result from the team with a well deserved win. We should have had like 3 or 4 goals in the first half and Liverpool did well in the 2nd half, but we are not ruthless enough when we take the lead.
oh damn it, he actually had a great game, him and Rio partnership was great, them both played good and kept the defense organised as Match of the day told us. that was his best game in a while. Hopefully its not serious injury, it would be a big blow if it is. also Rio Ferdinand was great yesterday too. him and Vidic know each other, their partnership is strong.
To me, i could be wrong here, it felt like a normal gae not a United vs Liverpool one where there's blood and thunder, also there was no controversy fro the game which is wierd, in my opinion, this game is up there with el clasico, people from over the world watch it, i think if you asked most people i think they would watch United vs Liverpool i could be wrong.
To me, it felt like a normal game, it were'n your usual United vs Liverpool game, its like its lost a bit of spark but for me this is the game, yes people will say City is a big game for us but the Liverpool one will always be the same for me.
Everyone should have "There's already a thread for that matth" in their sig so you don't have to repeat yourself so often.
This I said before the match that we should win easily. The first half was one of the most one sided I have seen. SAF was disingenuous in saying that this is the best we've played. The scousers are so far behind us and City it is unbelievable. We need to improve to be confident of securing the title.
