Citeh by no means comfortable yet. A comeback from the Goons here is not impossible - and would be bad news for the rest of the season!!
I think that what you guys are really talking about here, is a question of respect. I dislike Arsenal, but have a grudging respect for what they've achieved under Wenger. I also dislike Chelsea & City. I also have no respect for them, or for whatever they've " achieved" or the way they've achieved it.
Surprised that they took Tevez off - would have replaced Dzeko as at least Tevez will chase the play down.
Niall Quinn talking bollocks on the commentary about frivolous appeals. The club made the wrong appeal, which is why it was turned down. They appealed against the length of it, rather than the actual offence. Club balls up, not the FA or Premier League.
Balotelli about to come on in a game where the cards are being dealt out like it's Texas Hold 'em. Is that a good idea?
NSIS- that's exactly it, I hate Arsenal but as a club they do things the right way so you have to respect them for that. Chelsea started all this buying success and I have no respect for them. Especially all their Johnny come lately chav fans.
Thought the same - but he looked so disinterested once on the only way he would get booked was through lack of effort!!
Nah I said they wouldn't win a game in January, they got a point at Southampton. I was saying on our board that if we beat Southampton and Arsenal at home I don't see this Arsenal side being good enough to surmount a 13 point gap given the run of fixtures we have. My Spurs housemate has said he wants us to beat Arsenal as he'd rather us run away with 3rd that way it would significantly increase Spurs chances of getting 4th. If teams stay true to form from now till May it'll finish what it is now but swap Everton with Arsenal.
Charging the highest prices in the country (£62 a ticket), selling off your best players to rivals whilst directors and manager milk profits and bonuses is doing things the "right way"? May I suggest you assess Arsenal's history before claiming that. Success always has and always will be bought.
