Yep, agree with that. Although I'd be happy with Eriksen (obviously), any very good potential player would be better than getting Sneijder
i agree with both of you.... both are great... really great but sneidjer doesn't fit with gerrard necessarally and of course neither does eriksen.. buying erikesn would replace gerrard long term.... noether deals are on as both men will want mega money. suarez was worth it.... i think eriksen would be owrth it too.

Disagree with this, Gerrard has been excellent playing alongside Lucas. Sneijder can play the attacking midfield role ahead of them. That would be an awesome central 3. Eriksen would be just as good but probably at a cost of 4x the 8 million for sneijder.
the bib theory has been disproven in the europa away games at the very least. rhc has published whos on the plance and i'ver seen pics not agreeing. in the end what i'd like the bib theorists to go do is go down to melwood and wathc trianing then give an explanation of why it works... If rodgers really doing possibles v probables during the week or is he simplyputting partnerships togethers so if coates and carra are regulalry seen in the "not playing" bibs and that every week btw are they simply a partnership? The way the bibs get handed out should be made clear before this theory can be really taken seriously... but ther eis some obvious first team v seconds going on... you never see gerrard or suarez in the wrong bib do you? anyway.... welsh, thats fine i am just going on what i've seen with shelvey and gerrard and can't see WS running like hendo is doing to save gerrard's legs. the other thing is suarez cost 22.8mil... he's now worth 50... if we got eriksen for the mooted 20mil he'd be worth 30 within a year... sneidjer would be worth no more than 8.2mil due to his age even if he does great.. we'd make our moeny back but his wages are sunk. rememebr all wages saved seem to be going towards transfers and new lower wages for yuonger guys...
That's the bit that would concern me with WS coming. Gerrard doesn't exactly get up and down nowadays and that is why I like to see Henderson and Lucas alongside him. Chuck WS in the and Lucas is going to have a whole lot of **** upon his plate during games
I don't think he'd cost that much, his contract runs out in 2014, So in the Summer we could sign him for less than 12 million. But i'd actually love it if we went for Isco. He's an Incredible talent, also been much more consistent and has a release clause of only 17million, that a definite Bargain. Sneijder's wage of over £100k would be the only thing. Quality player no doubt but it's a lot to spend on someone that's going to be here 3 years? Also, why are none of the others, City, Arsenal, Madrid etc in for him anymore?
Don't need Sneijder, we need someone young and hungry who's playing good football and can improve; Isco or Eriksen, much like United went for Ronaldo years back and Chelsea have got Mata and Hazard. Buy the next big name for a 15mill ish fee instead of buying the last big name for obscene amounts of money (wages, in this case).
