So Scudamore is saying prices at the gunners is too expensive, what about at other grounds a mate of mine who's a spurs fan had to pay £64 to go to Loftus Road yesterday! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21002823
Have you plucked £64 from the air? For category A games it's £55 in the upper tier and £50 in the lower tier. I think it's scandalous that the bigger clubs' fans get fleeced but all clubs seem to do it. It was £45 for Norwich for us for what is presumably their lowest category. It's £35/£30 at Loftus Road for the lowest category, which includes Swansea.
What part of a mate of mine paid £64 to go to the game you don't understand, his post yesterday on facebook
arsenal charge £71 for some away teams. It's absurd and way over the top.....£30-£35 is imo way over the top and even £20 is a struggle for most families and if they are not careful clubs will see the attendance dwindle as fans will no longer put their money into the clubs as its cheaper to go to the pub and get bladdered and still watch the match..
Most on here don't even know the prices for home games let alone away ones. The replay price is a rip off as is the game at West Ham but at least they're not £62
I don't know the prices for match day tickets as I have a season ticket , and never go to away games.
If i take my two grandsons to an away match im looking at the best part of £300 and that is a lot for 90 minutes of football. the clubs are even conning us out of cup games as they use to be included in the ST's.....Its becoming a rich mans hobbies im afraid..
It cost £429 to renew my season ticket, that's just over £22.50 a game, I spend on average about £15-£20 going to the game with food, drinks and program, and as I have a lift there and back no parking or taxis etc . So you are right it is expensive, and I haven't been to a cup game at all and won't be going to wembley should we get there.
Dai, the prices for kids for West Ham are reduced, must be some sort of family day there because they're only £1
This might put things in perspective (stolen from BBC twitter feed) Chris - Birmingham - "Any team visiting villa park should be happy with the price they pay. Guaranteed goals and three points = easy day out!"
See on Sky's web site that the Man City fans had a banner complainting about the ticket prices they paid £62 now thats bloody crazy for a league match. I'd understand if it was a cup final. http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,,20699_8396071,00.html
429 for a season ticket i would pay, 60 quid for one match, no way in hell would i pay that, 2 of those matches i got to see robbie williams for
