Sturridge and Saurez could be a very good partnership.

Utterly **** second half by our lot. I don't know WTF Gary was thinking giving Welbeck the MOTM. His finishing is beyond ****. Webb completely bottled the Johnson sending off.

    Kagawa...oh dear.

Completely agree. The second half was pretty even - you had more possesion but we carried more threat on the break which is what you'd expect. The first half was like you guys just didn't know what to do.

    Fair play on the result.

You had won it before we got going. Although we did come into it and that is a positive for us.

Fair result, no controversy, cant wait til we beat you next

We should have been out of sight at half time and their changes brought them back into it.
Equal second half and we kind of held on for draw in the end, which given the dominance of the first half is disappointing.

Would have taken two one at the start though.

Despite the referee's best attempts to help Liverpool, we still won.

Wisdom should have been sent off in the first half, and a penalty should have been awarded, for preventing a clear goal scoring opportunity.

Johnson also should have been giving a second yellow for grabbing at the feat of Evra.

Welbeck played really well. I know he lacks an end product abit, but he works so hard and put Liverpools defence under alot of pressure, which forced them into mistakes.

The other player that played really well was Evra, he is such a threat from the left handside and he played a great ball for RVPs goal:biggrin:

Could/should have been. Kagawa got a shove in the back and ended up missing the ball. But he got Reina instead :)

Wellbeck works hard and makes a nuisance of himself but his misses and **** finishing could have cost us. We're lucky they didn't.

I'd have given Herdandez fifteen minutes to see if he could bury one.

jamie redknapp just called De Gea an '' average keeper'', he would'nt of said that about his golden boy Hart.

We should of had paul scholes on the bench and should of bought him on for the last few minutes, he would of controlled the tempo and kept the ball.

but it was a good win, worried about Vidic, hope he's alright because some of our fans were really scared about vidic and ferdinand starting together and they were worried especially with Rio starting but to be honest, Vidic and especially Ferdinand were brilliant today. Vidic was good, hopefully its nothing big and he's alright.

its nice to to the double against Liverpool.

First half was appalling from a Liverpool point of view.

Allen wasn't very good throughout the game and the decision to start him wasn't the right one in my opinion.

Our substitutions got us back into the game but starting Sturridge from the 1st minute could have seen a different game.

    Hindsight is a wonderful thing...

Can't argue with the result though. No point just turning up for 45 minutes if the game is 90 minutes!

Oh and it's good to see everyone focusing on the football. Much better to talk about the football rather than a dive/referee decision etc.

it was a good game. a good win for us.

seeing Daniel Sturridge play, it makes me wonder how he couldn't get in the Chelsea starting line up while Torres can.

This, the last time we did that was in the 07/08 season when we went onto win the league that season.

Redknapp went on a bit of a rant in general. He's not very good at burying his impartiality, unlike the Nevilletron.

Over here, Craig Burley was slagging De Gea off, but Cleverley and Rafael were also to blame in the lead up to their goal.
