    We haven't had a reliable keeper since Myhill who was ours - so I don't count Mannone & he had a couple of off-days. Some people have got overly selective memories. People calling for Matt Duke to return - excuse me but he's not top end quality either, he's good for Bradford cos they're L2. He's a steady Eddie type but I don't think he's the answer. The keeper takes all the stick unless the strikers are banging them in. Back in '66/67, Ian McKechnie let in stax of goals, it was covered up by the Waggy/Chillo partnership up front.

    Jakupovic played very well for a number of games before this and has made some excellent saves - Fact.

    As I said on t'other thread, he reminds me of Kasper Schmeichel. A world-class save is followed by a monumental ****-up (or three).

    We spent £1.5m on Meyler when we were in most need of a forward. The guy's good, but central-midfield wasn't the main problem area. In goal and up-front were. Nay, are. 6 goals scored now in our last 7 home games in all competitions, including matches against some of the worst teams in our league and an average one from the division below.

    I think he's made about 3 mistakes (to the same extent of Jakupovic's errors yesterday) probably since we signed him.

    World class save is followed by world class save with Kasper <ok>

    What for, assistant kit man?

    He's better than anything we've got but these Leicester fans do it with all their players. Delude themselves that they're are a a lot better than they actually are.

    <laugh>

    That Lesta Gangsta is the worst offender.

    No, not as kit man, but to lick clean the boots of their reserve goalkeeper. I'm not sure if Jerzy Dudek has retired yet but it might be him... <whistle>

    I sincerely hope that Lesta Gangsta's carers don't allow him to leave the compound to which he is currently restrained. I'm not sure if all ******s have ***** strength, or if that particular superpower is solely for Downs' Syndromes.

    <laugh> You sad pathetic little man. You make a case against one of our players based on one performance (ie very little evidence), even though he's been fantastic (he mas marvelous again yesterday), when I point out that you are very wrong, you get personal and unpleasant. Now I see you've run off back to the Hull board to slag me off behind my back! Laughable! <laugh>

    People like you give the decent Hull fans a bad name.

    Oh **** off you drama queen.

    Behind your back? What are you going on about?

    <laugh>

    You sound like a menstrual teenager.

    You need to go and sit down in a dark room with a damp towel on your head.

    Are you and Celticyorkie the same person?

    <laugh>

    Priceless.

    Agreed, But the inept defending constantly allowed Wednesday into positions that added to the pressure on the keeper and yes to be honest put Jakupovic behind Barcelona's defence and he would become the best in the world. Yes he made mistakes last night but then so did the whole ****ing team and it can not be laid at the feet of the goalkeeper alone. The attackers, the midfield and the defenders gave the ball away time after time, think the whole ****ing bunch of them where camera shy.
