QPR are set to make a £7.5m bid for Michael Dawson, the Sunday Mirror say. Rangers, who tried to sign Dawson in the summer, are said to be planning another attempt to capture him from Tottenham after having an offer for Jonas Olsson rejected by West Brom. R’s boss Harry Redknapp recently insisted he had given up hope of signing Dawson and Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas has made it clear he has no intention of selling him. But it is claimed that if Dawson – who flatly refused to move to Loftus Road in August – says he wants to leave, Villas-Boas would have trouble keeping him.
In AVBs plans, Levy will be looking to sell at the right price. Surprised he was playing & Caulker was on the bench, he's the future there.
He will look a bargain if we have to go to our last resort! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/qpr-turn-to-sunderland-defender-titus-1532396? Imagine him and Ferdinand as our CBs, we will let in 5 a game if were lucky.
I'd take him if Fernandes feels he can afford the outlay. Losing Nelsen is now inevitable, a player we all thought too old and injury prone, and I wouldn't want to plug the hole he leaves with Ferdinand or Bramble!
Personally I would take Dawson over Bramble.....mind you, I would take Stevie Wonder over Tits up Bramble. To play devils advocate, Dawson can read the game and he would be a major improvement on our current defenders. Ryan Nelson has been exceptional, and Clint is playing out of his skin however I just feel that Dwson would be decent addition to a squad - plus he already knows Arry.
