Todays racing comes from Kelso, Fakenham, Wolves and Navan.

Hope you guys don't mind me doing today's thread. As you have seen I can't pick much at present so hopefully some of these interests my come in today.

    13.40 Fak. Full ov beans
    15.20 Kel. Shooting times
    13.00 Wol. Resplendent alpha
    1500. Wol. Aubrietia

Will keep an eye on Ioannou in the 1400 Wolves who should have run on Friday but was withdrawn for some reason. Think there was plenty of money around that day, but this seems a slightly harder race.

    Good luck all.

Morning All - big afternoon today with the footy in the prem league. Hate to do it as a Lpool supporter but had to have a bet on Man Utd and bacon face as Utd just cruising through games at present and unfortunately for me heading towards a 20th title as City are too inconsistent at the moment :emoticon-0106-cryin Mick will have a look at the 2.00 Wolves.

    15:00 Bubbly Ballerina - 16/1 EW

A tough five furlong sprint at Wolves in which we have a short priced favourite in the Alan Mccabe trained Aubrietia who won so convincingly over six furlong at the course last Monday. She carries a career high mark today because of the 6lb penalty and whilst she looks to have plenty in hand on the result on Monday, I am wary that this is a much better field and over a furlong shorter. Especially as she has blown the start before.

Bubbly Ballerina won over this trip at Lingfield in December when she beat one of today's opposition (Alaskan Bullet who is less than half her price) when she was victorious off a mark of 75. She runs today off 76 after running two creditable races in defeat at Kempton and then over six furlongs at Wolves. The first race was one of those that the closers failed to get involved in, whilst the saddle slipped at Wolves and she still ran on creditably to finish 7th.

I think she is a horse who is pretty consistent and if the pieces fall into place she is certainly capable of winning over 5 furlongs off this mark, and that can't be said for a good few of the field. Therefore 16/1 looks a very fair EW price.

    Good luck one and all

Outstanding ride by Paul Carberry just then at Navan. Horse barely travelled a yard so he sat up on it, gave it a breather and timed it perfectly to go screaming past the stragglers in the mud.

Nobody does it better Toppy. His ride on Bellvano to win the Johnny Henderson Grand Annual was, for me, as close to the perfect ride as you will ever get.

It was indeed a classic Carberry ride.

The third in that race will be interesting when stepped up in trip and actually trying...noted him running on well after the last on the head on camera when coming under a little pressure for the first time.

Good little race at 3.15 at Navan...very competitive h'cap 'chase...off for a quick study..

    GL all having a punt.

I remember reading an column by AP McCoy about the week, what was his memory of the festival. He said, aside from the Gold Cup, it was that race. He explained that he was beat about four out and that all the horses in and around him were there because they were beat, off the bridle, up and down on the one spot and too far off the pace to be true when suddenly Bellvano came upsides him absolutely swinging with the Paul Carberry utterly motionless and, and here's the funny part, cackling loudly as he went!!

Brilliant, you can just imagine him doing the same on Monbeg Dude last week at Chepstow. I had a tenner e/w on Bellvano at 20/1 (and if I remember correctly RV was on too and we were hoping for a Carberry masterclass on Bellvano, who had always been a bridle horse). Coming down the back straight I thought he was too far back to get into contention, even coming down the hill when he was picking them off, I still didn't think he could get there. Yet all the time Carberry was motionless. Even when they came into the straight and jumped the second last, when he's still at least 10 lengths behind Tanks For That, he's still motionless. Between the last 2 fences he's still motionless. Coming to the last, still 5 lengths down on Geraghty's mount and he's STILL motionless. Popped the last, shook the reins at the horse and he quickened smartly past Tanks For That and gave him no chance to come back at him. The moments immediately after the finish encapsulate for me everything that is great about NH racing. Barry Geraghty has just been done on the line by Carberry yet trots up to him with a massive grin on his face, slaps him on the back and gives the horse a loving pat behind the saddle. Still brings a tear to my eye today.

Surprised how hard United made it after they went two up but they held out and to be fair as well as Liverpool played in the second half they didn't create anything of note.

The account now has a lot more money in it than it did two hours ago. Everyone's happy.

    BADA BING.

Paul Carberry - probably the best horseman in Ireland IMHO.

I was at cheltenham that day and was also on Bellvano. Having had my pockets burned on long run and boston bob i was down to my last 20 quid so stuck it all on bellvano. Was sat in the really small stand in the best mate enclosure thats quite far away from the action and it was getting quite gloomy by this time. All of a sudden i look towards the finish and see a mcmanus horse coming storming home up the run in and im trying to work out which one it is! When i realise its a red cap and bellvano i just going mad in this small stand on my own haha.

disgrace innit stick, thinking about packing it in after today, had 2 out 3, Cause Of Cause and Rich Revival, and the other was a 25/1 shot that ran a reasonable race, showing signs that he should be winning soon enough after a few bad runs.

bunch of clueless mugs, a page called TWE has 12k likes and puts up about 12 bets everday, most of them short prices and most of them have been beaten recently. They dont seem to get any **** at all, shows how many mugs there are out there.

That RICH REVIVAL was a great tip mate and overall you are up by a huge number of points. Tango Sky ran a belter for such an outsider. A 4-1 shot was withdrawn but those mugs then dont understand how it affects all the prices! I couldnt do it, I would be rowing all the time. I hope you keep it going, I have set up a seperate account to back them all and have tripled my money in a few days! Chuffed with that but I am a realist!
