Wpl league positions 2012-13

No - I reached my zenith weeks ago and am in a slow but inevitable decline into mid table obscurity

 

It certainly looks like we'll be together soon enough

 

What different perceptions we have - I'm aspiring to reach the giddy heights of mid-table obscurity, but doubt that I will.

Quite happy to plod along right on top of H though.

Hi Leo, I think if you have time you might need to check some of the scores again - particularly those close to the top, according to my reckoning Yorkshire scored 70 - although my result seems o.k.

Thanks Cologne - somehow I posted the result of Brighton Derby as 2-0 not 2-1 so that affects anyone who predicted 2-1 - they gain 13 points and those who predicted 2-0 - they lose 13. Funnily enough I am one of those who gained so it shows I do not even check my own scores properly but rely too much on the programme. It also affects by 5 those who got the score wrong but did /did not get points for the correct goal difference

Something funny on the site - wont let me post and edit properly - but this is the essence of it - two correct Watford scores - well done to OFH and Hampshire - not much change at the top though

Been a strange week with the WPL, it wasn't until after I posted that I realised you had shown the home team as the away team & visa versa. This threw me a bit and would have made some different predictions but know the rule of first post counts (as it happens the scores would have been great if the teams were reversed) However I do check my points each saturday to see how well I have done before you post the league. I calculated that I should have 32 (give or take a few extra points) but you have given me 20. Any idea where I went wrong? I correctly scored Cardiff and I thought that was 15 points + 1 for posting.

This is not a moan as I really enjoy all of your leagues, sweepstakes etc. and are grateful you do them.

 

Charlie - either you or I are smoking some wacky backy. Your predictions are below - there was no reversal of home and away and Cardiff's game was excluded as it was a 5.20 kick off and was not needed to get 10 games. You scored 10 for posting ten predictions, 4 for a draw with the wrong score, 2 for the Leeds win with a wrong score and 2 doubled up for Watford where you predicted a win but with the wrong score. So 10+4+2+2+2=20
