Well said. Yesterday's loss is not indicative of a terminal injury.
In 1965/66 City won the league (+47 goal difference), York City ended up bottom ( - 53 goal difference) . About this time of the year in that season York beat City at B.P. 4-1...it seemed at the time devastating, but proved only to be a minor blip...let's hope history can repeat itself. Mind you, we had the help of potent strikers and a great goalie then ( Big Mac let in 62 goals that season!).
Bruce & the Allams will rectify these deficiences, as will the players, as they, like all supporters, only want the best. Reading the vitriol/bile on the Jakupovic **** thread is maybe therapeutic, certainly better than kicking the s**t out of the cat or worse, but hardly productive. Get behind the team...days like yesterday will occur, more than is desired if negativity gets a hold.

Completely agree with the OP. Today was just a minor blip which highlighted a number of frailties in our team (lack of a goalkeeper, striker and plan B). Our performances this season in general have been top notch, and we go into the last 19 games in 2nd place with every chance of going up through the automatics. I doubt many of us thought that was possible at the start of the season.

Last night just summed the Championship up, any team can beat another and we're no exception to that. Like others have said, the transfer window is still open and as we showed in the majority of games before last night we are a good side who deserved to be 2nd in the league. Hopefully yesterday will act as a kick up the jackson and we'll see us back to our best at Peterborough next weekend. Some big overreactions last nigth from some city fans but guessing that could have been heat of the moment stuff after a poor game. We've shown we can bounce back this season, I'm sure we'll do the same again.

Ignoring the fact that we were on an 8 game unbeaten run before last night and looking like one of the best sides in the league <doh>. We had a poor performance yesterday but we're good enough to bounce back from it. With Leicester coming up fast behind us we bloody need to!

Every team has slip ups, we slipped badly yesterday. I'm sure Steve Bruce noticed where and why we slipped. Bring on a striker who plays like a team needs a striker to play, hold the ball then bring someone into play... like Proschwitchz did in his few minutes in the build up to the goal. Work more with him in training or bring in someone new. Whoever else posted it is spot on, Aluko doesn't do front man.

I didn't come on the forum last night to gutted not just with the defeat but with the display has well, having said the reaction from some fans and abuse is a disgrace yes were all disappointed but we have been on such a fantastic run that i think most fans turned up last night expecting an easy 3 points which in this championship its never easy, the problem is when your expecting and don't get then what an over reaction. Yes i am gutted, spoilt my Saturday night and today ruined but calm down, yes it was a very poor performance, we haven't had many, the keeper was very poor, the defence which has been very good but today got pushed off the ball to easy, there pace worried us and they stopped our full backs getting good crossers in, the midfield didn't get the time to play the ball around like they usually do and the forwards just did not hold the ball up well enough. Overall it was a complete poor performance and all these fans coming on here saying we want a keeper/striker well we all know that so well done you Sherlock's yes we do but come on lets cut out the abuse. Its so easy to give it on here and after a display like that you expect and are entitled to moan. I know a lot of it is out of frustration there is no one more frustrated than me this morning but lets hope now we do bring in a decent keeper and also a good striker which won't be easy and if we do a word of caution even with a couple of more signings if we get them then it still will be a fight to the end, fans coming on here saying a new keeper/striker and were going up well its not has simple has that yes of cause it would give us a better chance but other clubs are playing well around us so now is a time for SB and his staff to look at things, were still in with a chance hopefully we will get back to winning ways quickly a couple of players will be brought in and lets move on and get behind this young team again

Why are these comments aimed at 'armchair fans' there are plenty of fans who went to the game whos opinions and views have been completely over the top. Some people just haven't got the money to get to every game and have to pick and choose but still have a better idea of what is happening with the team than some of the idiots who do go and watch every game.

True, but it's not just armchair fans, there's just as many that go to the game and talk ****. Attending the game doesn't make you any more qualified to talk absolute crap and slag off a team your supposed to support.

I can't afford £40 per game and had to make do with watching it on tv, I would of much rather have been at the kc and I am sure that there are plenty if other people in that boat. For the record I pay 25 for sky per month.

The opinion of people who actually see the game will always carry much more weight than those who listen on radio or just re-cycle other opinions (usually negative).

    I can't afford £40 a game either- that's why I bought a pass and pay a little over 50% of £40 per game.

Again wish I had the money but the simple answer is I didnt. What does annoy me and what I think annoys you is people who only watch city on line and don't ever visit the kc and then make stupid comments. Oo well when I graduate and have a decent job a season pass will be top if the list!

People 'moan' on here all the time, this thread just looks like an excuse for the person who posted it to look superior because he can afford to go to the matches, a lot of us can't but it doesn't make our opinions less valid.

Reading this forum is a lifesaver for me and others who can't go to matches. I'm disabled and also can't afford to go even if I could make it there. I guess some people just need to feel like they are above others but thats life I guess.
