    Dominated despite the 10 men.

Only WBA out of the top 10 have conceded more so they're definitely vulnerable.
Problem is, they've scored far more than anyone else.
I still think we should go at them though. We should play to win- not to try to avoid defeat.

  3. We've tried it a few times. I know we closed the game out like that against Everton and we were penned in and under a lot of pressure the whole time! We did start a game like that too shortly afterwards but changed it early on, Suso was taken off after just 30-35 minutes <ok>

First and foremost we must play to our strengths, we have enough quality to beat them. I'm not saying we will, but Man Utd have and will lose to worse teams than us this season + This is the sort of game where form and standings go out the window. It'll be a tough ask, but I'm quietly confident we'll surprise a few people.

    Don't hold me to it

  5. I'm happy for us to switch the system slightly considering the game but under no circumstances should we be trying three CB's IMO. A switch to a 451/4231/4411 type system would be fine IMO, not too dissimilar to the 433 but a bit more conservative <ok>

Yeah I agree, 4-3-3 it's flexible in itself, but of course when you're playing the leagues top scorers you can take a slightly more cautious approach. Lucas could be the difference <ok> This is the sort of game we've missed him in, and I think this is his first 'big' game he'll play for us this season, apart from City where he came of injured

  7. I'd stick Sturridge up top on the shoulder of their CB's too, bit of a 4-3-2-1 if you like...

    Reina
    Wisdon - Skrtel - Agger - Johnson
    Henderson - Lucas - Gerrard
    Suarez - Sterling
    Sturridge

Good shout <ok> Personally I'd switch Sterling for Suso

  9. No chance for me, far too light weight for this game. Not overly keen on Sterling either but his pace will cause problems on the break and he's not shy of trying to get stuck in <ok>

Looking forward to this, hoping there'll be goals but the table sort of speaks for itself and beating Man United away will be an very difficult task. Hopefully there ain't no controversy either.
