TWF - you compare Utaka and Bullard, each of them on huge contracts, Bullard disliked by many, Utaka not so.

It goes without saying that anyone placed in their position would have signed the contracts put before them. The contracts are not their fault whether the clubs are being bled dry by them or not.

Utaka is a moderate player, Bullard is probably when on his game, one of if not, the best in the Championship. However that is only so when he has space and time to flourish. Any team worth their salt will place a man on Bullard and nullify him, a la Carsley for Coventry last season when Bullard hid all game.

The reason why Bullard is disliked by so many is due not to Adam Pearson, or anyone else other than Bullard himself.

    1) getting pissed regularly in and around the town in which he carries out his trade.
    2) his apparent couldn't give a f*ck attitude in games (penaly miss against Sunderland)
    3) his apparent couldn't give a f*ck attitude to the supporters (actions in the lap of (dis) honour after last game at home in the Prem)

    4) having flown him half way around the world (twice) to get his knees sorted and paid him to do so, and having paid him royally for the best part of three years, perhaps morally he owes us something - before you start it's fair to say as an employee one may expect his employer to look after him this way, and I would agree therefore that 4 is not the poor little darlings fault.

He bad mouths City at every opportunity. We're best shut of him.

You however may want to continue to swallow the guff about how bad we are treating him, especially that trotted out regularly by his mates at Sky.

I have genuinely no idea whatsoever why you've thought this post was worthy of a thread of it's own, but whatever.

Bad start, this one's based solely on hearsay, but thanks for the heads up, next time I want a drink after work I'll hop on a train to another city.
He missed a penalty? Yeah I can't believe the bastard aimed for the post on purpose! No idea what you're getting on with this one.
I can't remember what happened here, you'll have to remind me, was he even there? Or is that the point?
Yeah this happens with most good employees, as you've said yourself.

He's not bad mouthing City, he's saying he'd rather be at Ipswich, I'd rather he didn't but who can blame him?
The club have treat him like **** and are now paying the price. Yes.

HULL CITY: Bullard's available for Championship opener against Swansea

JIMMY Bullard will be made available for Hull City's opening league match against Swansea – despite being left out of all pre-season friendlies.

Head of football operations Adam Pearson says the 31-year-old will come into contention once Championship points are at stake.

The news comes after the club's record £5m signing has been frozen out of the Tigers' pre-season games in order to avoid injury.

City remain hopeful of finding a club willing to take Bullard on a one-year loan, with a deal to cover around £1.5m of his wage demands.

But should Bullard still be part of the Tigers' camp come kick-off in nine days' time, Pearson says he will be available to play.

"I think if he is still here at the start of the season then he will come into Nigel Pearson's plans," the head of football operations told the Mail.

"Whether Nigel decides to pick him will be completely down to him. We have some good players in midfield and it will depend whether Nigel deems to play him there.

"From my point he will be available for the squad and it will be Nigel's decision whether to play him or not."

Despite not playing in the warm-up matches, Pearson says Bullard has put recent difficulties, and the fall-out from the collapse of a proposed move to Celtic, behind him. And despite saying the player has not indicated any desire to stay and a wish to play Premier League football, he praised his recent attitude to the situation.

"Jimmy is training well," he said. "He has accepted the situation and is getting on with it in a professional manner, which you would expect him to do.

"He understands the situation we are in and that we can't afford him to get injured playing in a friendly, which may prevent him getting a move to suit him and the club.

"We have been active and we have approached a number of clubs to see if they are interested in any kind of deal.

"They are Premier League clubs and I keep saying to Jimmy, he has to play games and prove his fitness.

"He is fit, as fit as he has been for a long time, and we saw in November what a fit Jimmy can do to a team. He has prospered in the Premier League for a number of years so if he can prove his fitness I am sure there will be somebody out there willing to take a slight risk on it."

Yeah he was clearly talking bollocks, if that was the case why let him go for pittance in January? The man's full of ****.

And all we hear from others is that Pearson is God who can do no wrong. That's my opinion, that's theirs. What's your point?

Surprisingly well written and thought out for you. I see you've gone with the "His mother's on drugs" theme rather than usual "go die" that you really made your own. A bold move, but one that's done wonders. Interesting use of the word "****tard" as well, as opposed to the **** which I did think was getting a bit stale.

    Good effort.

Unfortunately I have never had any contact with either AP or JB.
So unlike TWF I am unable to us his inside knowledge of both to be able to state that 'I already know AP talks bollocks'
or that everything JB says has to be taken as the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I therefore can only state what I think will happen.
Either JB will sever all links with the club and move on and we will be paying nothing - or he will see out his contract at city and rot in the reserves.

I only say this with Assam Allam stating that he will not pay for any player to play for another club.

Back to the classics again, I think this was a mistake, maybe you should have gone for the druggy mother thing again, and then brought out the classics.

Or maybe just change the wording a bit, "perish" instead of "die" perhaps, you can find a thesaurus on line if your giro won't cover a hard copy.

Ahhh, the old ones are the best!!!

And you give it a some what eloquent style of delivery!!

Is it just they way you say it, or does it need a "special" recipient to give it such a metaphorical resonance?

Cheers man, I've been wanting to use it for a while. I wasn't sure though as I never like to get too personal, as you're clearly unemployed or working in Aldi, but as you took it in good humour I'm taking that you accept that.

I wasn't sure on the thesaurus thing though, I mean, firstly there's the distinct possibility that you haven't used one since your English Key Skills exam four years ago and have subsequently forgotten what a thesaurus is, and secondly there's just the nagging doubt that I could have said something a bit more relevant to you, white lightning or something.

No offence Tony, but that post never really worked. You've just repeated the first one with a few pointless, unfunny additions. Sorry. :(
