Didn't SAF say in his press conference it was a huge shame Shankly retired just a couple of years before the team he'd built won the European Cup. If only he'd hung on till after the great Bayern side had fallen back he'd almost certainly have won one

Other interesting ones:

SAF is the only one to win the top division with two clubs and in two countries
SAF also the only one to win a European trophy with two clubs
Paisley is the only one not to have won the FA Cup
Shankly is the only one to win the English second division, tho' SAF also won the Scottish second division
SAF is the only one to have won the CWC
SAF is the only one not to win a major trophy as a player
Paisley is, surprisingly enough, the only one not in the Scottish Football Hall of Fame

 

I'm looking forward to the game, I just hope that it's not settled by some controversial incident & that both sets of fans decide against delving into their vile chants section.

Too little, too late. Should have been much more attack minded from the go. Certain players were heavy passengers today.
