PS Luckily there's no 3 minute rule. Went onto 606 (horse racing forum) and had forgotten how irritating that was.
I have played on the wing but I'm much happier inside these days. Rather than wait for the transfer window I took an early flight over to Adams Park to discuss with Waddock my position as a striker now they have got promoted. After a brief trial he suggested I should go right back. I've never played in defence before.
Overall not too many surprises, maybe Montrose being released is a surprise but I am sure Waddock must have other plans if he is happy to let him go. I am skeptical about Beavon though, a striker who doesn't score or have an eye for goal. Can hold a ball up and puts in a shift but we need quality up front. Will be interesting to see who he goes for up front, as I can't believe he wont try to strengthen there. I would like to see at least another winger so that we are not reliant on Betsy and Ainsworth to play every game as neither are spring chickens. Definitely a new left back as Sandell isn't good enough and we will need another centre half as well. As for Davies/Donnelly, both are possibles I would have thought although Swansea may want money for Donnelly as he is under contract. Davies, I think it really depends which player turns up, first time on loan he was fantastic but second time round and at Yeovil he was useless!
Id be available on a free..........ive often been told I have devilish turn of pace and a natural eye. Admittedley that is normally at last orders........
I could come out of retirement and still at the age of 28 I have a lot to offer! Good winger an eye for goal, thats it I can support Ainsworth and Betsy, why didn't I think of that before?!
