Good evening rotter. Walters took a starring role today then. Should've had a hat trick too. On that evidence don't miss him at all. Lol.

    Ahhh there you are!

I went all the way over to your board to post a special little message just for you, but it seems you missed it.

Try using the Stoke board. It's a lot of fun.

After 29 hours and 15 minutes I was expecting a decent comeback, but that was just rubbish rotter.

Can anyone else think of another player that came close, or even managed the holy grail of a hattrick of own goals?

After a bit of research, it seems that no player has ever scored a hattrick of own goals.

John Walters does, however, have the honour of being Chelsea's joint top scorer in 2013...

In 1976 Chris Nicholl was playing centre half for Southamton at Filbert street, against Leicester. The match finished 2-2, with Nicholl scoring all four goals, he even had the cheek to ask for the match ball, the referee refused.

I was looking at English teams. Should have cast the net wider. There was mention of a Sunderland player scoring a hattrick, but the ref gave the goal to the attacking forward.
