My days been incredible so far. No hangover, nice lay in, City win 4-0 away, all sides around us lose, been out for a quality meal and City have gone up to 3rd 2 points off 2nd.
Friday is a massive game now. Lose to Boro and all the ground won today could be lost. Win, and we will be second for at least on night, maybe more if Hull carry on!
Now is the time to hit a run. Hull are in a bit of a slump. I dont think Palace are contenders for the top 2 and Boro I dont think have enough about them. We need to put some pressure on Hull and let Cardiff know that if they slip up we are still in there because they are quite some way ahead of everyone at the minute.
I wouldn't go so far as a saying 'slump' yet. No doubt we need to bounce back but we've had a loss tonight, a draw in our last game and three wins on the bounce before that. We could do with bringing in a quality striker before your lot overtake us. I'm sceptical about Cardiff doing the standard losing streak late on in the season and if you get ahead of us it will be difficult. Would be nice for both of us to get promoted to be honest. I like the banter.
One loss in 8 is hardly a slump? Long way to go but I'm confident we ll finish top 2 and you will be in the play off lotto.

You have dropped 5 points over 2 games. Albeit its only 2 games its alot of points to drop in a short space of time when your chasing promotion
And before that we got 16pts out of a possible 18pts! I think Steve Bruce is right we need 12 wins out of the next 20 games. There's no team I'd rather be going toe to toe with for promotion may the best team win.(we will)

Well done LcFc... I've been saying all season your going up.... Hull had a bad day for sure but we will bounce back.... I think you will beat boro next Friday then it's up to us to win at Peterborough. Which I hope we will.. Fingers crossed that Cardiff go on a losing run.
If you lot sign a decent keeper and a striker or 2 then you will be alright. Bruce has a bit of work to do. If you dont get them I think it will probably be play offs for you
On our conversion rates alone I don't think we look like top two material as things stand. It all depends on who we bring in this month. The sooner the better. It's not so much the fact you signed Woods... it's the fact you signed him first thing and are essentially getting an extra month's worth of games out of a good player. If we are looking at Fraizer Campbell and he's taking his sweet time again we need to move things along fast.
I'm always positive and happy even when we get well beat... Win some , Draw some , lose some that's how it is for all teams... Steve Bruce will sort it out I'm sure... Roll on next Friday / Saturday.. All the best...
