I've played 5-a-sides in the park having smoked a few spliffs and had a few tinnies and still been more alert than some of these lot today - the cock up in the centre circle that led to the failed two-on-one opportunity for the Wendies was plain embarrassing. Terrible performance - very few came out with any credit all all, and more than one seemed like they couldn't be arsed after the first goal went in. That Antonio lad made Chester look like a little bitch. Brucey needs to give these kuntz a good talking to and nip this in the bud right away. However, I wonder how much of this pasting is down to our players and how much is down to Dave Jones sussing out our tactics? If so, it will be repeated by opponents in coming games and therefore I think it highlights how much we need a proper target man/finisher - I think Prozzy needs a proper run before we give up on him entirely, but maybe this pile of gash match will get us decent striker. And of course, a decent keeper.
Bit of a shambles all in all tonight, think Bruce should have changed things a lot earlier when it was clear Jones had sussed our system out. Still we're gonna a get a blip every now and then, maybe a new goalie will come a bit quicker now which can only be a good thing and another striker, plus Bruce can work on his plan B for when things aren't going to plan.
I dont see us finishing above Leicester if we dont get a striker and goalie in. I still see us finishing in the top 6 but Leicester are going to be on fire with Woods added to their team now.
Well played Sheff, they rattled us from the start and we never really got into our stride. Hope Jak's ok but couldn't see how he was hurt so bad. Think this could be a reminder to the team that we've got to keep on our game and that teams aren't just gonna roll over.

I thought the ball bounced mainly behind the line but I didn't think all the ball was over the line. Was one of Jones' tactics to plan for our three centre backs to disappear when the cross came in for the first goal? Brady needs to be able to beat the first man at corners. When he managed it near the end they changed it and started taking short corners!
A pathetic display ill directed balls pumped into the waiting centrebacks all night and we got muscled off the ball the whole match,Aluko in particular was easily dispossessed and no one came out of the game with any merit.The Wendies were a poor footballing team but they had more desire and latched onto all the loose balls as well as being quicker to cut out balls to Elmo.We just seemed to pick the wrong options for a pass everytime ,the recipient having two or three defenders crowding round and no Tigers player close enough to assist .This resulting in all forward movement breaking down.I missed seeing their first goal but Jakupovic had no real conviction for the second that was disallowed and I feel it should have stood and what a poor effort he made on the second one when he got injured (lack of gonads I'd say.).Aluko's pathetic effort at going for the ball gifted them the third but overall they deserved the win because of their effort and desire. Simpson should have seen their goalkeeper dive early and slotted it easily to his left.What were they thinking of to let him take it in the first place?We really needed that win to consolidate second place ,I now see a play off looming as our best hope,I hope I'm wrong.
You have to think that if you are worried about a striker taking a penalty is he good enough as a striker?
He was never good enough when he played against us when on loan at West Brom .When we signed him I was disappointed he was poor when he went out on loan and no better when he came back.Prossy seems to be similar .Neither are good enough for a top championship side but I fear we've missed the boat by not addressing the situation at the start of the season knowing we were going to be without Fryatt.

I thought Pro looked ok when he came on. He seemed to hold the ball up well. On that one corner he did get in the way of faye who yelled at him for a while over it. My thought at the time was that Pro did the right thing. It wasnt like faye or anyone else was doing **** so Pro going for it didnt seem like that bad of a thing.
Also, does anyone know why Elmo doesnt take corner kicks? He is our best crosser of the ball why was Brady taking all of them?
