I thought this was the Arsenal board , how can we WUM ANY fans on here but our own ?

If THEY come HERE , it aint wumming is it ?

If we did it on their board its wumming , not here.

Its not as if we have gone overboard is it ?:emoticon-0112-wonde

besides . i find all the manure fans coming on here and wishing us " luck " a bit galling ,

    Dont you. ?

We gave them the best striker in the league , do they need more help from us to keep city at bay ?

There's nothing to move on from, it's not like we've rectified the situation have we?

I think what he means, is that no matter how much you whinge about RVP, it's not going to change the situation, so best to move on.

Well the way I see it, RVP's departure as I said, is the epitome of everything's that's wrong with this club, so unless, and until it's rectified, supporters as myself will continue to complain about it because there's nothing to move on to.

You could always accept mediocrity as a large number of our fanbase seems happy to do.

Well, the way I see it, is that RVP's departure is the epitome of everything that's wrong with modern footballers, who are more interested in money and personal glory than fighting for the club that developed them and paid their wages whilst they were injured. So until that's rectified, supporters as myself will continue to support the club over one greedy individual, recognising that harping on endlessly about a situation that was out of our control is futile.

Well that's what we realistically have to "move on" to. RVP has certainly moved on, to bigger and better things than Arsenal.

Sorry, RVP wasn't money hungry, if he was, he'd be off to City.

As for RVP seeking personal glory, who can blame him? He's a professional footballer at the peak of his career, such a footballer deserves to have his skill and ambition matched by the club. Sheesh, so do you knock a major player for an inferior team moving on to a better team with chances of glory? He was at Arsenal for several seasons, and in the last few seasons with Arsenal, nothing changed. He saw us losing our best players, failing to adequately replace them with top quality, and failing to make any ground on the top teams. This season is more proof of how this club isn't going anywhere in terms of moving forward and how RVP was right in his assessment.

RVP's departure is down to the regression of our football club, you don't keep world class players when your main ambition is to only fight for the top 4th spot as your invisible trophy. Maybe to people like you that's acceptable, but to winners and world class players with ambitions, it isn't.

Call me old fashioned, but for a player to say he's proud to captain Arsenal and want to win trophies with us, as doing it with somebody else wouldn't be as special; to then force a move less than 6 months later rings a bit hollow.

Anyway, enough about Judas, the topic has been done to death.

Well he said that around 4 years ago, maybe at the time he thought things would improve at Arsenal, but overtime no improvements were being made so it soured his feelings, that's life, that happens many times.

Plus, I don't think he made that comment 6 months before he left Arsenal, that was years ago when he signed his last contract.

He wrote it it in his programme notes, 6 months before he forced a move away. As far as I'm concerned, he put personal glory before his club, his team mates, his manager and his own commitment to being captain of Arsenal.

When did I say he was? I'm saying the comment about him and his love for the club may have been made more than 6 months before he tried to engineer his move.

You said he made those comments 4 years ago. You were wrong, he made them 6 months before he engineered a move away. So that proves that he is a self centred ****, more interested in money and personal glory than fighting for his team.

Well I don't blame him for seeking personal glory, he saw the situation at Arsenal going no where, so went to bigger and better things. There is no shame at all in seeking personal glory, when the f--k has that ever become an evil abomination? Our status, and Manunited's status, proves he was completely correct in his assessment anyway.

Also please tell me which Matchday program he said that in? Because I still don't believe he made those comments recently but made them years ago at his last contract signing.
