Really struggle to see how he got in before Faulin. Thought he looked slow, lacked imagination and too often broke up our play. Doesn't run, doesn't tackle, doesn't string a good pass. Or am I being over critical?

85 % passing accuracy today, best in our team but I don't fancy him either

i didn't think he was too bad. I thought he actually ran around quite a lot. pestered them and pressured well. Defo looks a bit slow these days though.

    Doesn't run doesn't tackle? Wtf?
This persecuting of players is so boring. Watch what he does do rather than what he doesn't.
Faurlin doesn't do any of the harrying and chasing that Park does, and isn't exactly pacy himself these days. He was pants against liverpool.
Play Faurlin Vs the weaker sides, park Vs the top 6.

You could be talking about Faurlin there too mate. You seem to have forgotten that he too has been sh*te this season.

    Park did alright today IMO.

Harries - yes but never actually puts in a tackle
Chases - yes but usually is too slow to keep up
Passes - yes 85% but non incisive and few constructive

I always feel that Sir Alex never let's players go unless they are not performing. Do think we've been sold a reputation.

If she can sell a few shirts in Korea too we should sign her up.

    <laugh> HARRYing...... <laugh>

I've always liked Park. He's a bit slower but he certainly still hassles. As for today's game - you could say the same thing about most of the rest of the team, we could hardly get our foot on the ball they had most of the possession. Park did his job.

Park was way off the pace in the first half and was running a lot because he was always a couple of yards behind play. His kit was spotless after 20 mins as he hadn't made a tackle. Improved a bit in the 2nd half, but looks a shadow of his former self.

Agree with the OP, Faurlin would be a much better option IMO(the giving of which are what MBs are for Grifter<ok>) Shocking bit of play from him, when Defoe hit the post, backed off & gave him the space to shoot, rather than 'Harrying' that time ;)

looks like we're split down the middle on old Ji Sung. I do admit he has a touch of the headless chicken about him at times but I thought he brought something to the side today when we were going to be chasing Spurs all over the place for the majority of the match.

85% of not a lot is still not a lot. He was the only one of today's 11 that did not look like they were giving 110% effort (don't know if it looked any different on TV but it certainly looked that way in the ground). As others have said it's a mystery why HR didn't switch to Faurlin at half time. We could have really used his place kicking as well.

Must admit I am a bit of a soft touch when it comes to players who clearly give their all but maybe lack a bit of quality. Really want players like Park, SWP and Mackie to do well.

He improved in the second half vs West Brom and grew into the game today.

There's a reason Harold chose not to make a substitution this afternoon.

I agree he was the poorest today, but I would have stopped short of changing him for Faurlin. Putting on Cissé [who was stripped and ready on 75 minutes] or DJ for Park would have imbalanced the team, and afforded space to Spuds.

    Stop whinging, please!

Spuds didn't score for the first time this season - FACT.

Every player did brilliantly, and we didn't lose to a very good side - FACT.

    I reiterate - stop whinging!

    Who's whinging? We're discussing a player's performance on a football messageboard.
Its what they are for FFS.
    I thought M'bia was amazing today & if there isn't a thread, I'll start one<ok>
