We stopped spurs from scoring for the first time this season, while we were pretty poor going forward we must surely be happy with four points from the last two, considering they are all top teams!
Mate I'm quite happy with a point, We beat Chelsea and draw Tottenham. I bet nobody gave us points in these fixtures when they were calculating those 40 points line
but it looks like we are miles off getting three points. Four shots on goal. Were not going to win playing like this.
I would say that on the 1st January 4pts out of 6 would have been a great return and 2 blank sheets against 2 top teams. Definitely a step in the right direction. MOTM for me Hail Caesar for those 2 great saves but all the team deserve credit. Didnt see anyone throwing their arms Cisse style in frustration which was good to see.
We have to play tight against the top teams even mid-table teams will play this way and when we start playing teams lower down the league I am sure we will see a change in formation, great point today.
Were we going to out play and out score a top 4 team? I think the best tactic was played for this match and although I would have liked to see some more shots we are getting there.

Well done Rangers. Nullified our attack and had the odd glimpse of a break now and then. For those that are saying that they'd like to see more shots, Villa, Stoke, Swansea and Fulham managed five attempts on target against us. In total. Yep, that's an average of slightly more than one a game, with Swansea failing to register any. It wasn't pretty, but you need a few ugly performances like that to get you going.

Look at it this way, we've just got the same number of points in 2 games against semi-top opposition as Hughes mismanaged in 12 games! Sure, we played like a team without a strike-force. Hardly surprising though is it, given the fact that we ARE a team without a strike-force?!!
