Iv heard from other City forums a group called the Hull Ultras are going to try and liven up our soulless, can hear a pin drop stadium today, with some European style flares (not the trousers..before you say it...)

Hope it works, the KC can be dead at the best of times, we need to go the whole hog and get the guys on metal stands with megaphones screaming songs and pumping there fists in unity with the crowd..

I don't know where you sit, but the atmosphere in E1 - E3 is pretty decent most games. There's always room for improvement, but a step forward would be for those complaining to simply join in. <ok>

The whole Stadio San Paulo used these last week in the Derby de la Sud. They were sort of mini handheld torches, it was a night match (obvs) and it looked amazing. Ive tried to find pics but have had no luck.

I think it needs a lot of people involved to make this work but plaudits for trying. Have to start somewhere.

yes, think they are like the fluorescents that you can snap, and children play with them, they are totally safe, but give off the same affect, as the burning ones

I think you'll find Bazza did way before Coldplay.

Come to think of it didn't the Ultras want/have maracas the other week?? Now waving lighters!!

I'm really hoping we going to do the Copa Cabana. No one else does that, it can be our song!!

I'm coming in my Hawaiian shirt just in case.

whatever happens good luck to them, it will cost a few bob to pull it off, and if it makes the atmosphere better then the Club should applaud it

Pyros are getting banned across Europe at the moment, as its a fire hazard, but these are perfectly safe, and dont give any heat out or burn

Could look good on TV. Is it sad I'm recording the game despite being at the match?

If the stewards grab a flare-user and the plods get involved.......

    ........what price 'wrongful arrest'?

I'm all for it, I follow them on Twitter and they said it should look good, If it helps create an atmosphere it's a good thing, Just hope the plod dont go barmy and have it stopped. I should be able to get a good view from the tediously quiet and boring west upper :(.

The problem with expecting west upper to make an atmosphere is i noticed at the leeds games, is its like an old mens working club, hardly any under the age of 50 in there.
