I see Rangers Chief Executive Charles Green has warned the 6 players including Sone Aluko who left Ibrox last summer that they could be forced out of action with their new clubs by his bid to seek compensation for their services. According to Green the arbitration process is set to have a disruptive effect on their new careers , he said "What these players and their clubs need to realise is that , when we go to the next level , this is going to be a number of days , not just an afternoon at Hampden . These players wont be training or playing , they will sit in Hampden waing to give statements , we are not going to let this drop" . Suppose we will have to wait and see what happens.

First of all he doesn't have the capability to do that, statements can always be made by proxy.
Secondly, I think Green will have his hands full fighting the restructuring of Scottish football.
And thirdly, if he does manage to disrupt out promotion bid by whatever means lets see how he fancies facing a lawsuit for loss of income from the Allams.

That is certainly not how it works here. My partner is a labor lawyer and has labor arbitrations on almost a weekly basis. She isnt here to ask but I do know that the party she represents are almost always at the arbitration hearing but it rarely takes more than an afternoon. They will have a schedule and Aluko would know what day and what time to be there if he has to be there at all. It isnt like he would have to sit around for 2 weeks waiting to be called in.

Really so much hot air. If he was able and he had the intention he would just do it.
He has neither so he makes a noise

Rangers already got all the compensation they deserve... nowt. Green is sad that they'll be stuck in the Third Division next season, so he's spat his dummy. He also said Rangers should abandon the Scottish league altogether if they don't get their way. Sounds like someone's job is in danger, and it isn't Aluko's.

The girlfriend says that here at least he would have to be there and a deposition would not be sufficient. Since it is a contract issue Aluko and the person who negotiated the contract for him would have to be there. He would not get any special treatment for having training or a game on the agreed upon day. She doesn't see how he would be needed for more than a couple days as it is simply a contract issue and most of the issues would be set forth in the brief meaning the actually part that Aluko would need to be present would be short.

Her exact words. It sounds like his old team is being a douche and that will probably work in his favor.

I agree with most of the above, but we deal with the Scottish legal system and it's nothing like ours. Although the accounts we deal with aren't personal contract issues, there could be a bit of truth in what he says.

The sooner we get a proper fence built at the border the better !!!

Im pretty sure there isnt any chance anyone can be forced to move their employment no matter how fat the haggis he is waving is !
Compo , maybe , but no employer or ex employer can dictate what the employee does in the UK , the choice is always with the employee .

Correct me if I'm wrong but, isn't it the Scottish FA that CLEARED Sone Aluko to us? If so any argument this buffoon has is surely with them and not Sone nor Hull City.

Green is a sabre rattler - it's the same with him saying thast Rangers will leave Scottish football (where would they go Mr Green???)
Aluko was excellent when you played us at Ashton Gate - he looks a top player
All the best for the promotion push - I would love to see you guys back in the Premiership

This is just an attempted ploy by him to try a frighten clubs and get them to pay some payment, so as not to disrupt their respective seasons. With Aluko from what I remember his contracted period was up, but there was an option to extend for a further year by the old club that went into liquidation. This I understand was never actioned, and it is debatable at who's behest this extension would be triggered by.

The Rangers Football Club Ltd,[1] often referred to in the media as Newco Rangers,[2][3] is a limited company[4] based in Glasgow, formed to replace[5] The Rangers Football Club plc (which was subsequently renamed RFC 2012 plc), incorporated in 1899,[6] which entered liquidation procedures on 14 June 2012.[7] Having purchased the business, history[8][9] and assets of The Rangers Football Club plc,[10] including the all-seated 51,082-capacity Ibrox Stadium in south-west Glasgow, as well as the club's name, several players agreed to have their contracts transferred to the company.[11] After an application to join the Scottish Premier League was rejected, an application to play in the Scottish Football League was accepted with the club being placed in the third division.
    Financial performance

Above is a piece off Wikipedia, which says several players agree to transfer their contracts to the New Rangers, and Aluko was not one of these. Also I am not sure of all the facts, but surely if there was any chance of compensation being due, it would be the administrators of the old defunct company (Oldco) be more liable to claim off these clubs, to get money back for the creditors, who the old Rangers owe money too, rather than Green trying to get compensation for this new Rangers company?

Thanks for you best wishes mate. I hope you stave off relegation too. I like coming to Brizzie for a weekend.
They would probably go into the Northern Premier league! The Football League nor the Prem want them.

Don't clubs have to have a UEFA liscence to start playing with the big boys, whether it be in a league or in the courts.

As far as I'm aware it takes 3 years to obtain it.

In short - **** off Green.
