I'd give it to one of the two starting CMs. I like the thought of the leader of the team being in the centre of the pitch, makes it easy for them to shout at anyone not pulling their weight.
It's nice that their are a number of players who could potentially be captain, not many teams have that many options. Personally, I would have Mr Schneiderlin, he plays an integral role in linking up with the defence and attack, therefore involved in most of the play. He has matured like crazy and has that fight I like to see in a player. But I don't mind who as long as we put in a good shift and get a result!
Shaw for me, also make him play in goal and left back just to see if anything fazes him. Morgan was the captain of the French u21 team methinks
Morgan Schneiderlin, who has been with us through our highs and lows. But more importantly has aguably adapted better at this level than anybody.
How could you give it to anyone else other than Schneiderlin? A vocal midfield general, covers every blade, he deserves it. A loyal servant to the club too.
I believe it should be Corky but we have leaders all over pitch all shouting and egging each other on.........a 2-1 win tomorrow will pursue
I am not sure that we do have many vocal leaders, however Villa have even fewer. I think Vlaar and Dunne are big misses.
