As it's transfer window time we obviously get a lot of rumours going round at this time. Should we agree that if somebody is posting something from Football Rumours they should start the thread name with F/R? For Off Topic threads, so they can be avoided by people who just want to read about football we have the principle in place that the thread names should start with O/T unless it's obviously an off topic thread. Should rumours from Football Rumours be similarly obviously marked so that those of us who don't want to read a load of bollocks can skip it rather than finding out in the 3rd post where it's come from?
does it really make any difference? Im sure that peoples lives arent THAT busy that they will have wasted a precious 10 seconds reading a post that has **** all to do with anything!
I am quite sure that the poster does not think it is bollocks but the person reading it, may think it is.
huh? I was just stating that the poster wont think that what they are posting is bollocks but the reader thinks it is bollocks? are you seriously stating that we should automatically know whether you would think my or anyone else's post is bollocks BEFORE you read it?? great idea.......... I will put I think you will think this post is bollocks in EVERY NEW POST that I make, just in case you THINK my post is bollocks. I kinda agree about people believing ALL that they read on these rumours site.
so basically you are saying that you dont think you know? this MAY be a bollocks post and it may not... I dont know cos I am not that psychic. But I will try just for you chazz
Agree with dj, no need for this rule. I'd just say that if you're planning on starting a thread just on the strength of a football rumours thing, don't. And if someone does, just move on and read the next one.
Rules? Getting a bit too classroom on here. Just delete any thread that is about something from football-rumours.com and ban whoever posted it, while reporting them to the Savile investigation for historic sex crimes. Problem solved.
