    I feel safer watching Yorkshire play a one day match at Scarborough with Corkies flying everywhere than I do behind the goal when Mclean lines one up

    What stories? We couldn't really have much better form since Mock took over. Chopra and Emmanuel-Thomas took to abusing fans earlier on in the season on twitter and then Kourouma, a reserve who has now left the club, announced Paul Jewell's exit on twitter some hours before there was anything official. Bit of a shambles. What i find odd is if I had all that money the last thing I'd do is be on twitter all day.

    They're egomaniacs, simple as that. I totally agree, if I was a footballer I can not think of one good thing to come from being on twitter. A singer, an actor, a comedian, a maker of tv series - yes - you get to raise your own profile by promoting your work and potentially increasing sales. But a footballer doesn't get paid depending on how many people turn up on a Saturday. It really is vanity.
