Kentish Man - just been reading that released players thread... Looks like quite a few shown the door - good news, IMO Hessy is doing the right thing, it was time for a clear out.
Thinking back to the end of last season, I wondered then if he would go after Morgan but Hessy came back with Bayo. I've got no problems with Bayo, if he can adapt to changes tactically.
I have only just seen who has gone and I am well happy, No more Julian, Cronin, Nutter, Sinclair, Gowling and others. Sad to see Bentley go as he has been great, But all the **** is gone.
I think we need to bring in 1/2 Goalkeepers Hawkes is going to be number 2 3 Defenders 3 Midfielders 2 Strikers- One of them being Cody.
Kentish Man - in all honesty, I haven't a clue! No disrespect to Julian but it had to be sorted. Several times this season, there was poor communication between him and the defence. His kicking although improved, was poor at the best of times. I know he is probably not to blame for the tactics but kept putting himself and the team under pressure all the time. What do you reckon Kentish Man?
tell you what, you could do a lot worse than give Worner a trial A lot of Addicks were a little that he was released. He's 21, 6'2" and looked fine for L1 in the games he played for us. I'm sad to see him go.
So with eight players gone, how many will come in? remember we had one of the largest squads in the division and needed to reduce that, so should we fill up some or all of the spaces, or just get in 5 decent loan signings as in Cody, Whelpdale?
