This is another of those clubs that, in forum terms, have been an annoyance in the past (the Maynard debacle). Always a pleasure to beat those sorts!
This is the sort of team we have slipped up against in recent seasons. Went when we played these at home though, and thought they were poor, they offered nothing. Only Adomah looked remotely threatening. I'd be extremely worried if I were a Bristol City fan.
We are very concerned but while there is some life in the patient, we will not be turning off the life support yet.
My memory of the Maynard saga was some bloke kept coming on our forum, but still the reality was that Maynard did not want to move to another Championship club - ironically he went to West Ham in January and then got shipped out to Cardiff in the summer so never played in the Prem Hopefully we will make it difficult for you today - we can be quite good going forward, but our defence is the problem with no clean sheets in any competition this season
... I think this is a very significant result for us ... the goals difference we are bettering each week could well be the difference come the end of the season ...
still being complimentary to us whilst slamming his own players http://www.clubcall.com/bristol-city/departing-mcinnes-slams-players-1530752.html Good luck to him.
ok, woodsie is alright, but is he a goal machine in the making like the german hitman? im not so sure..woods goals have been ok..but i don't like the way he takes them..not much class.. when the hun came on against the mighty wednesday his first touch looked the business..playing in front of that brickwall defence i can only see good things at hull...old stevie is a sly old fox...
