The majority of us may be able to forgive and forget the carry on regarding the then surprise departure of Darren bent, seems a lot of chat about him returning. Some view it as AWSOME deal but some think he's the devil.

However, the barcodes looking for striker, to what depths of despair and hatred would you show if the unthinkable happened and he dons a black n sh4te shirt, you thought you didn't like him now, comments

Would they pay his wages though and they don't buy players of his age.

I'd have Bent back now as much has changed for both parties and at least 50% of the problem has now gone as well. The whole Bruces daughter getting 'Bent'over and riden like a sea side donkey was the crux of the problem.

If we got Milner then it would not bother me.

Well put cest, re the seaside donkey, however question was imagine, forgetting the problem of wages etc.

They have however lost there strike ace, ba, collocini unsettling the camp, news suggesting Italian club in for remy, they need something big and quick, so why not, then how'd we feel, bent in black n white ??

Don't think Milner is passionately disliked by the mags, Clarke played for us, Saha both, Alan brown years ago to Newcastle, to name few but sure this one would stick in our throats??

it's potentially, putting local rivalry to one side for a moment, a shrewd move for Newcastle. So long as he doesn't score for them on March 13th, let's face it on Shola's recent form he's more likely to score a home goal for us <laugh>

I was more upset when Bracewell went there and Venison to a lesser degree. Bent is yesterdays new for me now

Tbh, I wouldn't be that bothered. I think he'd be under massive, nay gargantuan pressure with his Sunderland connections to score from second one.

I don't think if can handle that intense personal pressure, as I think he is a weak character. His best form and period came under our roof and with the love and affection of a fanatical support. He must regret every day his decision to whip miss Bruces knickers off against her daddys wishes.

Could have been an all time Sunderland legend AND England regular by now but then we wouldn't have Marty, so fairs fair.

I wouldn't worry about Bent scoring against us in a derby match. He always disappears during derby games.
