    Clarke sounded pretty hostile to QPR when discussing the Olsson bid. So if the OP is true, we won't get much change there. I suspect, however, that at West Brom the decisions are made upstairs where money talks

    A fair point. WBA aren't cash strapped. I guess it depends how else the board feel they can use the money from the sale in the transfer window.

    Not sure this will happen unless we have incoming. With Gera out for the rest of the season and Mulumbu in Africa and our injuries, our squad is beginning to look a little threadbare.

    He's the type of player we should be trying to get. Our heads are in the clouds with some of the names already mentioned...mostly by lazy journo's. As with everything it's down to money. In previous transfer windows we knew we had some money to throw around...and boy did we throw it. This time? Well I personally have no idea what sort of figure we might spend, and if there's a limit..how high or low is it. Seems we have at least a decent amount with the bid for Olssen.

    Very good, classy player on his day...is a bit of a handful with management. Wasn't picked for the Nigerian AFCON squad as he is known to have 'issues' with the management, blaming them for playing the wrong tactics in the 2010 World Cup. Hence current coach Stephen Keshi has overlooked him.
