Morning Everyone, Warnock has brought in Ryan Hall and Michael Tonge on full term deals since the transfer window opened at the start of the month after the pair spent time on loan at Elland Road in the first half of the season. The Leeds boss says it is difficult to do any business when agents are telling you one thing and managers another.Speaking on LUTV, Warnock said, "I have spoken about seven or eight players and they are not for sale and despite what agents tell me, they are not available."They tell me they are available and they will cost me this much and when I speak to the manager, he tells me they are not for sale. That shows you just how difficult it is. Seven or eight players on my list and none are available."I am not saying they were our number one targets but they were on our list and we can cross them off now. Leeds United boss Neil Warnock says the club have had enquiries for transfer listed duo Paul Connolly and Danny Pugh. The pair have been on the transfer list since the summer and Warnock says enquiries have been coming in for the duo. He wants to stay in the championship if he can and there is one or two clubs looking at him. Leeds have not been in contact with Nottingham Forest regarding Dexter Blackstock, according to Alex McLeish. Several national and regional newspapers reported last week that the Elland Road club had made a £750,000 bid for Forest striker Blackstock, who will be out of contract in the summer. But McLeish insists the Reds have not had any interest in any of their players so far during the January transfer window."In terms of players going out, we have not had any interest," said the Scot.

Morning Elland, morning those joining. On Blackstock, it just shows how little we can trust the press. I for one really believed that we'd put a bid in & couldn't understand why we hadn't heard anything either way. Now we know for certain that we didn't put a bid in. On Pugh & Connolly, I think both will go before the end of the window. Connolly I'm not bothered about, & whilst I think it would be disappointing to lose such a versatile player as Pugh, I think we are moving forward. So his long term future is unlikely to be with us. More rumours about Gradel. I'll believe it when I see it. Hopefully we'll get one or two more in & see one or two go the other way. But its all a bit slow at the moment. Just hoping for a big win tomorrow, as much to improve our goal difference as anything else.
Morning all. Doubted the Blackstock story when I saw a figure of 750k mentioned. Think that sort of money may be out of gfh league. Getting a bit sick of the tweets Patel and Haigh put up on twitter. Patel tweeted a smily face yesterday and seemed to cause pandemonium with people assuming various deals had been done. Maybe they're trying to interact better with the fans but that sort of nonsense is not helpful to their cause
Bloody hell, if 750,000 is beyond us with the new owners just installed we might as well have stuck with Bates. Not fussed about Connolly or Pugh going. Didn't rate either, but that's just me. Regarding transfer rumours, I don't believe any until I see them signing. Also, I'd rather wait till the right ones are available than signing players for the sake of it.
Until we spend 750k on someone, I assume it is beyond us. Like everyone, desperately hope I'm wrong. Up to gfh to do the biz
Connolly and Pugh is good news, as we can get them off the wage bill, meaning a bigger transfer pot (Unless we're still using Bates's war chest) Some interest about some of our younger players is a worry, unless White is one of them, so lets hope he goes, and nobody else as we need good kids for the future. Anybody else think that Appleton is a coont? you start off feeling sorry for the guy when he was at Portsmouth, and think he was lucky to get the job at Blackpool. Blackpool is not a high pressure job even after following Holloway, but he had a good squad with some great players and should have been near the top. So what the hell is he thinking by wanting to go to Blackburn? Yes a bit more money, a better squad but working for the chicken dicks, who have managed to sink the club since taking over, is a joke. Appleton should have shown more loyalty to the tangerines, and he's only been there 9-weeks ffs. Ugly, greedy and unproven and no loyalty. We all talk about managers being unlucky to lose their jobs sometimes, but theres always plenty of managers who walk out, or don't turn up for work if they're not allowed to speak to other clubs.

I was watching Ireland getting hammered by the germans(which was why I was drinking fast) and as I was coming down the stairs after a piss stop, I apparently fell and knocked myself out. Don't remember the game or falling. But CT scans were clear and the double vision seems to be almost gone.
