http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...amford-Bridge-unless-Rafa-Benitez-sacked.html Short memories it seems, what's your slant on the situation BB?
Rafa Benitez was never going to be a popular choice. We were chanting against his name when rumour were flying around that he might come to Chelsea in the cup match at Birmingham last season. Roman got Rafa to make Torres score. And he has failed in that department. It is like the club has become Torres FC and not Chelsea FC. Us fans stuck by Torres for a long time considering he did fark all. He has no movement and doesn't look interested. He is apparently a £50mil striker. If he can't do his job then he should be sacked and tbh I'll be glad to see the back of Torres. But... this is Rafa and Torres we are talking about here. Torres will probably still start a fair number of games even though the fans want Ba to start. Ba did more in 10 mins than Torres did in 80 against Swansea! I'm completely against booing our own players though. That is out of order and shameful. What Chelsea needs is to see the back of Rafa and most of all Torres and then progress. The board have farked about and not giving Lamps a new contract as well as Ashley at the moment is shocking. You can laugh but it is tough when you see the club that you support and love being 'used' as some sort of toy. I am grateful to Roman for all he has done but he needs to resolve this situation and listen to us fans because he doesn't at the moment. But if Real Madrid want to swap Mourinho for Rafa... I think we could do a deal
All I can say is that you don't know when you are well off, RB was only ever going to be a stop gap before PG gets the job, so enjoy him while you can!
"You can laugh but it is tough when you see the club that you support and love being 'used' as some sort of toy." Don't get us fookin started.
That isn't going to happen I'm afraid! And personally I wouldn't go for Pep... I'd go for David Moyes. I would love us to have a manager who is at the club for more than a season and Moyes could do a very good job for us. You can see what he has done at Everton with little money... with us it would be a challenge but one he would look forward to imo.
