I couldn't help but notice that Morgan led the chat in the pre-match huddle against Arsenal anyway, despite Fonte being there. He's already acting like a captain and gets my vote.
I think Schneiderlin is the most suitable, S.Davis would be the best choice overall but in and out of the team so not sure how much influence he would have, but I'd give it to Rickie for a couple games.
I dont know how vocal Cork would be, but he's playing fantasticially right now and anything we could do to make him Saints to the core would be a good idea. So with that in mind, make him captain!
Cocked that up didn't I....I thought we had to chose between those that you had listed. As some has said Davis is the natural choice perhaps because of his experience. Lambert is passionate enough but he is or normally is in front of the team and I personally prefer some one leading from behind.
I think Davis took over from Fonte when he went off on Saturday so it will probably be him if he plays. If not then Morgan.
We don't know whether Davis will start, I'd give it to Morgan or Rickie, if not then probably the flying dutchman.
