What is your prediction guys? my prediction is Man Utd 2-1 Liverpool, Van persie to score two goals and Suarez for Liverpool. whats yours?
heart: 5 1 RVP hat trick, Hernandez and Evra Suarez for them head: 1 1 RVP penalty Suarez offside goal
i think if we control the game and concentrate when defending ( which we haven't done so far this season) and start creating chances for RVP or Hernandez ( if we start) then we should be able to win.
i hope your joking, he's been important for us over the last few weeks, he'll play on sunday because he didn't play against West Ham.
Can't make my mind up on the best centre half partnership for this game. Evans definitely and if Vidic were fully match fit I'd say him but I've got this fear if Vidic plays he'll end up hauling Suarez down at some point after being turned inside out and give away a pen or get sent off or both. At the same time, I think Suarez has the potential to give Rio a hard time too so not too sure. The plus point is that he is literally the only player in their side we should worry about.
guys, what do you want the team line up to be? here is what i hope the line up to be: ........................................De gea..................................... ...Rafeal.............Vidic/Rio.............Evans..............Evra.......... ....Valencia............Carrick.........Cleverley...........Young......... ...............................Kakawa/Welbeck................................ ................................. Van Persie..................................... This is what i hope the line up to be. Evans will start im sure of this but not sure whether Sir Alex will risk and start Vidic, i think Ferdinand will start but Ferdinand's experienced enough to play this game so i would be happy if Captain Vidic or ferdinand starts. Kakawa or Welbeck to do the Rooney role just behind Van Persie, which is key, i hope Sir Alex doesn't do 4-4-2, if we do this formation, it's like 5 man mid and it would help keeping Gerrard quiet. Hernandez to be super sub and come on if there is any danger. Also i would not mind Giggs in for Cleverley too since Giggs has been in good form recently but i think Cleverley will play. i also have a slight feeling inside that Rooney being out could be a mind games by Sir Alex and he might make a shock start, i hope so. Also as long as we keep Gerrard and cheating Suarez quiet, Liverpool won't be a danger. since their Full back's ain't the strongest, im sure Valencia and Young will be pressure-rising them the whole game. Come on united! im buzzing for the game!
By David McDonnell Comments MANCHESTER UNITED VS LIVERPOOL The big man's back: Wayne Rooney pushing to be Man United sub vs Liverpool 10 Jan 2013 22:31 Christmas Day knee knack has forced the striker to miss the last four games but he's made enough progress to be in the frame for Sunday's clash Ready to rumble? Rooney was thought to be out of Sunday's game - but may be fit Getty Images Wayne Rooney is pushing to make his Manchester United comeback against Liverpool on Sunday. Rooney has missed Premier League leaders United's last four games with a knee injury he picked up in training on Christmas Day. Although a scan revealed no damage, Rooney felt a twinge at the back of his knee and has not figured for United since December 22. But it is understood the England striker has now resumed light training and has a chance of being on the bench for the clash with arch-rivals Liverpool. United manager Alex Ferguson had initially ruled Rooney out for a further two weeks, meaning he would miss Sunday's Old Trafford encounter. But Rooney's progress has been such that the 27-year-old could make his long-awaited return this weekend, albeit as a substitute. United are desperate to get Rooney back to match fitness as quickly as possible, as their season enters a potentially defining period. After facing Liverpool, they travel to Tottenham on January 20 and host Everton on February 10, before meeting Real Madrid in the Champions League three days later. My prediction is 3-2 to United. The miserable scousers score first, in the first 10 minutes. We then chase the game, score 1 just before HT , 1-1. second half: The cheat dives, Gerrard score with the pen, 1-2 in the 50 mins. RVP scores in the 85th min, 2-2. Then surprise surprise, Hernandez scores in the 93rd min. 3-2
I'm getting nervous ahead of sunday's game, i have a horrible feeling that they're going to play out of their skins but i hope they don't.
This is the team I would play. In a 4231 formation. De Gea Rafael, Evans, Vidic, Evra Cleverly, Carrick Valencia, Rooney, Young Van Persie
FFS when did we ever rely on the miserable scousers not playing out of their skins when they play us? I fully expect a victory. With or without cheating from the miserable scouser...
i think Suarez will dive or cheat against us on sunday, i think we'll beat but not by the mention scorelines.
