  1. Really hard to sell players, they're all rejecting terms from the buying clubs <grr>

Started a career with Gillingham.. Bloody nightmare! All the players have next to no stamina, their's a game every few days (If you progress in the cups), 450k budget and a 2k wage limit, almost every play under 60 overall (one was 62, he handed in a transfer request).

I sold off the oldies and changed my budget allocation to 100% Wages. Got in Morgan, Yesil and Coady on loan (Not bias at all, I know). Haven't got a player over 25 now so if I can start climbing the league I'm hoping the players overalls will rise untill I get a decent transfer kitty. It's so dull though, I have no idea who any of my players are, gonna bring in some players with fancy names if I get promoted, that'll do the trick.

Edit: Also does the Europa League exist in Fifa, I never bothered checking nor have I ever been in it <confused>

  3. You're better off getting players that are under 21 as they will grow as you move up the tables. Plus, you could stumble across someone that becomes worth something too <ok>

A little too low a level for you but Adryan is rated 71 and only 17, you can get him for about £4m. After just one season his rating is about 76-77 and you can sell him for £25m, you can't try to sell him though, you have to wait for the big clubs to come in for him <ok>

    Europa League exists <ok>

Got a few players under 20, but I plan to save a bit of money and set up a scouting network and get some pucker talent in, planning to ditch most of the players I have right now <ok>

4m <yikes> I dream of the day I have that much money <laugh>

Europe isn't going to know what's hit them.

  5. I always intend to invest in a scout but always end up blowing my load on someone or other <laugh>

    I can't afford £4m either with Braunschwein <ok>

You can normally make some great signings from the free agent pool.

  7. This is my downfall if I start in League Two. I sell everyone I can and pick up the free agents, I end up with a side capable of easily winning League One. Makes it too easy <doh>

Of course, if I had the patience then it would obviously become a lot harder one in the Championship but I guess that also depends on what you've managed to do with scouts / youngsters <ok>

I generally go for free agents and loanees until I'm in the Championship because I can't bear spending money on a player I know will only be good enough for a year or two.

  12. Couple of decent youngsters to buy that are rated about 62-64 but grow to 78+...

    - N.Wells at Bradford (League Two, about £400k)

    - Fischnaller from Reggina (Serie B, about £500k)

Fischnaller is awesome at freekicks too <ok>

Don't you hate when you see a player and his stats look good or you know in real life he is a quality player but for some reason, he just doesnt quite feel right? Bought Izaguirre ( Celtic RB) for my Ingolstadt and have to say, I thought he would be much better or better to play with I guess. <confused>

  16. Absolutely although its normally with the AM's or CF for me. I don't think the defenders stats really matter that much, as long as they can tackle (standing or sliding) then the tend to be able to manage. I do try to get CB's with decent jumping and/or heading for the set-pieces though. With the FB's, I try to have someone with a bit of pace and curve as they provide the width in my teams (and I like them to take the corners if possible). I don't think crossing makes much different bit a player is able to get plenty of bend on the ball it foxes the opposition defenders. Not that I ever cross <laugh>

Depth killed me last night, With CL ( although my team is still **** but did well enought o just squeek in), Pokal cup, and the league my players have been exhausted. Bayern swept the floor with me, just couldn't keep up. Plus they bought Suarez and he ****ing torched me. <laugh>

depends, on my Liverpool career, they are depleted and not that good. On my Ingolstadt they are boss and at the top of the league most of the time. BVB fell off in my Ingolstadt career and stuttgart is back in the hunt of things again.

  20. Ok, so I finished second by two points with Branschwein and somehow managed to make the cup final (the other team had already qualified for Europe too ) . Got ****all money for the following season so did some wheeling and dealing, plus I had a pretty good youth supply too. After about 18 games I was mid-table but out of the cup. Although I was happy, I got offered the Villareal job which I accepted. They got promoted in the first season but were sat second bottom with a target of mid-table. Still got their three stars in tact too <ok> Just spent the entire January 2014 window trying to sign my players from Braunschwein <laugh>
