Rangers were badly run - period Mr Green. You are lucky the Scottish clubs allowed you into the third division - end of. The previous company which employed the "stars you are trying to get money for" no longer exists, meaning legally they could sign for whoever would pay them a salary

Their CEO Green is a nutter albeit in terms of his last statement he's right IMHO - should they win the league they are in, they would, it appears, still not get promoted.. his stance is that they might as well now stop playing till next August if this gets voted through

The formation of a Europa League involving the biggest clubs from the smaller countries similar to Scotland (such as those in Belgium and Hoilland, which are also uncompetitive for the top two or three clubs) will surely be formed in time - just needs the agreement of UEFA to relax the cross border issues.

Get the **** away from this board <laugh>

Green is an utter twat though. The funniest thing about it is that of all the players involved, Aluko is the one who you would say had the most 'right' to move. His contract was up, and the old company had an option to take up another year. They went bust, he joined as and the rest is history.

Rangers fans (and that includes a friend of mine who's a season ticket holder up there) took their medicine and accepted the fact the previous owners had fooked up big style with relegation to their bottom tier.

That doesn't alter the fact that they are a massive club and one their country can ill afford to see where they are.. the Club will ultimately press to play their football elsewhere in time IMHO..

Idiots have ran the club, but the supporters have spent their they money and loyalty with great credibility - a damn shame, but for the grace of the Allems . . . .

This Rangers lark is getting boring.

They're a big Club, with a completely insane CEO.

They won't get a penny of us, they know that.

They can quit the League all they want, but at the end of the day, it's their fans that will be pissed off because no ****er over here wants them in our League's.

Besides, if they come over, Celtic would go ballistic and claim they should be able to join too.

They need to pipe down, **** off, and get on with it. They'll be back in the SPL pretty soon anyway.

Aluko can't think his contract was up (as in expired) any more than the other players that left did. If he did he wouldn't be suing them for breach of contract as a way to try and get out of paying any award of compensation that Rangers could be awarded for the final 2 years. (He joined last season on a short term contract with the club having the option to make it a 2 year deal)

Green is a total bell end though, even if you ignore the fact he can't actually carry out his recent threat. If the restructuring goes ahead Rangers will be in the 3rd tier, which is the same as if they get promoted this season. If it happens, just because the rest of their current division will all be at that level he's saying they'll leave because it makes this season's games meaningless. Wouldn't leaving the league make the games they played this year even more meaningless?
