We haven't had a decent goalscorer since Sir Les.

Habib is worse than Hulse and Angell, so it's a no from me.

Totally not convinced on this player, seems more interested in playing with his hair than with a football. Looks like a camp Drogba.

S.V. Zulte-Waregem are in the Belgian Pro League this season, but with the exception of Anderlecht and maybe Genk, Standard Leige and Club Brugge all the other teams are rubbish.

Col, I don't need to watch him regularly, the stats speak for themselves - 40 goals in 120 league appearances at a poor standard of football. If he had got those goals in England, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Holland or Russia, then it would be a good return.

1 in 3 goal ratio is good in any standard imo. You're probably right about him, but I'll judge him when I've seen him.

Is there any guarantee that Jordan Rhodes or Charlie Austin would be a success in the Premier League?

Sorry mate not good enough. That means he'll score 5 goals in 15 matches ( if he keeps the ratio in PL) and that ain't gonna cut it.

    Exactly.

Pirata, you must remember that 1 in 3 appearances is a lot different to 1 in 3 starts. Out of those 140 games he might have only come on as a sub for 40 of them.
Its not prolific but its definitely not bad. Look at Paul Furlong. His stats read 58 goals in 183 games (for QPR) which on the face of it doesn't look all that great. Less of an average than the bloke you're banging on about in fact. But he was a great centre forward for us because his hold up play and ball winning contributed so much to the whole team.

Statistics can be very misleading mate.

You're right mate, I went to see his full performance data and when I compared his minutes to goals he scores 1 in 2 games. Even better
