The not606 F1 World Championship - Round 7

Technically that was a request, not a moan.

 

The next race will be today from about 5pm-6pm, for those not in the UK it is currently 12:13pm

 

We need some world clocks up here!

 

Ah, it would look like my chances of decent points will be close to nil then, I've got a train to catch about that time. Come on BLS!

Race Report

DHCanary drove another exceptional race, 2 wins on the trot for the new mod, however he was not the focus of the post-race analysis. None of the top 4 going into this race finished in the top 5!

RoadRunner ended any hopes he had of taking points by driving over Lickorish's front wing at the first corner. Stephen losing the wing as his team forget to bolt it on, cruel luck for the pair, RR out in the barriers and Lickorish consigned to driving at the back of the pack.

RR's team El_Bando didn't fair much better, as he was subject to a hard but fair overtake from the Iceman off the second corner he stropped for half the race demanding justice. It didn't come, and he finished two laps off the pace.

BLS and di Fredsta! simply seemed incapable of matching their teammates and struggled all weekend.

This left the podium wide open, and undoubted driver of the day was Kyle. Kyle had seen his old team mate leave due to Kyle's lack of points and after one race he was already behind his new team mate, Kyle showed the world what he is capable of, and he could have won it but for a botched stop. He was joined by a jubilant Bhaji, who still found a way to complain post-race.

Nazara continued his up down season, 3 DNFs, 2 top 5 finishes, what will be next for the mercurial talent?

EMSC is now starting to show up Caesar, already ahead in the points after another strong result, will JC pick up his game for the next race, with only 3 points separating the pair, this could be a fiery rivalry.

The top 10 has rounded out by the Mercedes, and despite the double points finish they are now rock bottom of the constructors

 

Look at DHC's last two races!

 

This reporting is shocking... I believe that there is obvious use of ctrl+v going on. The not606 championship equivalent of launch control. It's like '94 all over again!

 

Some people do nothing but criticise <shakeshead>

 

That was never a criticism, it was merely a nod towards the success of having one high point scorer than 2 low point scorers.
