****in' Hell, really ? That is some stat, nearly 6 years without even scoring a goal against us at Emirates. Let's hope that stat remains in tact come Sunday evening
I think we should start with Walcott anyway, but that's a shame if Giroud is out because he offers us something different if we need to alter our attacking tactics.
I also have Walcott in my starting line up. His battle against Kompany should be interesting. Probably Walcott's toughest test in his new role.
Start with Theo & with Pod on the left. If it isn't working, push Theo wide & Pod in the middle. He can be the link player if City play deep.
Yep I'm looking forward to it. But we need Cazorla and Arteta to be on form too, so that he gets good supply. People were saying Walcott was ineffective at CF against Southampton, but that was largely down to the fact that the service was practically non existent. I think this is where we might miss Giroud if he's not playing, he can hold the ball up and set other people up to score.
Have a good feeling about the Citeh game. They are due a goal at our place (6 years since the last) but I'm confident.
"What is painful is to see United so far in front of us. We knew when we sold him to Utd that would be the case." http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jan/11/phone-call-manchester-united-van-persie?CMP=twt_gu Don't think I'd be happy with that from Wenger if I was an arsenal fan
