OK, my best mate's dad was a driving instructor. We used to have a great time co-driving his car when his son took it out.

Hope his driving is as good as his shooting !!

 

he's a fantastic driver ...he went for his test a couple of weeks ago but it was cancelled because of icy roads ...he's taking it again soon.

I sucked at taking my driving test. Originally took it in Hendon but switched instructors and test centre to Watford. Much nicer and easier!
Anyway, great news H! Heard on the radio the other day that Sordell who I went to school with is being targeted for Twitter addiction haha.

I have to take my driving test in a few weeks.

I never thought I would have to take one again after getting my UK license when I was 17. But apparently I have to get a local license after the grace period of the UK one is about to run out.

If I fail I'll be a laughing stock.

 

Oh lordy, good luck! The trouble with taking tests, as an experienced driver, is the bad habits, and getting rid of them. I've taught a few people who have been here on foreign licenses, it's a toughie! Good luck Saxet!

I am not looking forward to it as I will have to take the test in Ms Saxet's car. It's a nice enough car (Mazda CX-7) but the all round visiblity is rotten. And the window tint is a little too dark for my liking.

I would rather take the test in my own Chevrolet Tahoe S10 Blazer (nutter b**tard) but the brakes are just not up to an emergency stop.
